Abstract

The experiment was conducted in AL – Rumaitha District / AL . Muthanna Governorate in soil texture silt clay loam for studying the effect of adding different levels from Nitrogen and phosphorus in some components yield and properties quality for Hibicus Sabdarriff l . This experiment has used two factors besids the Random Complete Block Design ( RCBD ) for nitrogen factors have four levels zero ( N0 ) , 60 ( N1 ) , 120 ( N2 ) and 180 ( N3 ) Kg N / Ha and phosphorus with four levels zero ( P0 ) , 40 ( P1 ) , 60 ( P2 ) and 80 ( P3 ) Kg P2O5 / Ha with three replicates on all levels . Nitrogen fertilizer added to ward two doses, the first dose is on agriculture and the second dose is added when the flowering begins. Hibicus Sabdarriff l. has planted with local variety on 14 – 3 – 2008 on ridge in 3 meter length and distance among them 75cm . The plants of middle ridge has taken from each experimental unit for measuring different measurements for yield and its components for physiological maturing on 18 – 11 – 2008. The calyx has estimated for the following properties: Fruit weight ( gram / plant ) , Total solid soluble ( % ) , Total acidity ( % ) , Vitamin C ( me / 100ml ) and anthocyianine ( me / 100ml ) . The study shows that the results has increased in the most studied properties as a result of adding nitrogen or phosphorus or the interaction between them.
