HJ is a precise scientific journal issued by College of Education for Humanities and started in 2010 to emit the rays of light to different research in both Arabic and English.
Before all, it is seasonal published four times a year.the scientific evaluation of all the researches are done at the hand of experts specialized academically and linguistically from inside and abroad.
One of the achievements the journal exudes is to issue a version exclusive to the yearly scientific conference into which many researchers, from Iraq and other countries participate. In the aggregate, the journal reaches fruition ,as it receives many notes of appreciation from Iraq and other countries for the meritorious efforts.

Abstract

PRAGMATIC COHERENCE can be either local or global. Global PRAGMATIC COHERENCE, which is not the concern of this study, holds the relations of speech acts in a whole conversation, whereas local PRAGMATIC COHERENCE holds the relations between sequential speech acts in that conversation. In this work, the relations and interrelatedness between the utterances of discourse will be investigated in terms of local pragmatic coherence only. This means that the type of relations investigated here will be pragmatic ones. Theoretically

Abstract

Analytically accounting, the noble savage as a literary term designates the sense of the lingering principles that survive,although fierce and feline, the sordid circumstances stop short of eradicating those principles that move momentum and persist being vanished; it is first coined by Montaigne`s essay Of Cannibals in 1580,but it surges into prominence in the seventeenth century and then it is applied in Dryden's The Conquest of Granada.

Abstract

The literary production of Sam Shepard demonstrates some atypical intricacy. His career as a dramtist reflects an ample development on the thematic as well as the technical levels; a mounting dramatic maturity that Shepard himself concede. In an interview published in 1974 Shepard announced that "he was now trying for less flash and fewer mythic figures."¹ Although he had thought that the character is a “corny idea,” he was now becoming interested in it “on a big scale.” This progress is reflected in the reaction to Shepard's works which is in itself problematic:
