The continuous pressure of work and daily life and the increasing financial and social stress that Iraqi women are experiencing (both inside and outside Iraq) is one of the main causes of anxiety, particularly in those of working class women. This group of women carry the burden of carrying out multiple roles and responsibilities at the same time. All this collectively make them more prone to developing anxiety compared to men. In addition, the physiological and psychological nature of women, as females, on top of the other roles in life, like being a wife or mother or daughter or sister, all add extra pressure on women especially for those who are considered as productive working individuals in the society. In order to study the relationship between these two variables (social anxiety and mindfulness) Sarson Scale for Social Anxiety (translated and modified by Radwan 1988, and consisted of 29 questions) was used. The Toronto Scale for mindfulness (translated by Riyad Al-Alsamy and consisted of 30 questions) was also used. Both scales were applied on two groups of Iraqi women with a total of 100 (50 of them lived in Iraq and 50 in the UK). The result was that both groups had social anxiety but more prominent/severe in married women and who lived inside Iraq. Also, both groups had mindfulness but more in those lived in the UK, with no significant differences between married and unmarried women. And finally, no significant differences were found between the two variables, i.e. no significant relationship was found.

Abstract This study aimed to identify attitudes towards mental illness in pregnant female clients to clinics women in the province of Ramallah and Al Bireh, for this purpose applied to study procedures on a sample of (200) of pregnant mothers were selected a sample available, have reached results no statistically significant differences in the level of attitudes towards mental illness due to the variable age in mothers pregnant female clients to clinics for women. Ther were astatistically significant differences in the level of these trends depending on the variable-level scientific research for the benefit of pregnant class university students and older and then high school and so on all areas except the area of social interaction, The results also showed a statistically significant differences in the level of these attitudes towards mental illness due to a variable number of times the load on the field of treatment for the first time to download, and no statistically significant differences on the rest of the fields, and reached results are also statistically significant differences in the level of attitudes towards mental illness in Pregnant variable depending on the number of abortions and that the areas of social compliance and the total score for the lack of abortion, and there is no statistically significant differences depending on this variable on the rest of the fields. Abstract: The current research aims know: 1.-level application managers secondary schools and junior high for the tasks set by the high school system in Iraq, from the standpoint of teachers. 2. statistically significant differences in the extent of the application of secondary school principals and junior high for the tasks set by the high school system from the viewpoint of teachers depending on the variable (sex, specialty, number of years of service). The researcher used the descriptive analytical method being considered best suited to such studies, for the purpose of achieving the goals of research, the researcher using the questionnaire as a research tool, included (7) key areas represent tasks principals contained in the system of secondary school No. (2) for the year (1977) also included on (70) paragraph, representing the research community of principals high school and junior high the morning of the General Directorate for Educational Baghdad (Karkh second, and Rusafa second) totaling (4497), a teacher and a school, was chosen them intentional sample Random amounted to (450) as a teacher and a school, by (10%) of the research community and hired a researcher bagful of statistical (spss) for the analysis of the responses of the research sample. The results showed the following: 1 that there is a high level managers in the application of high schools and junior high for the tasks identified by the system of secondary schools in Iraq No. (2) for the year (1977) average. 2. no statistically significant differences in the level of application of the principals of the tasks set by the high school system in a sample search attributable to variable sex in favor of males And the other due to the variable length of service for the benefit of those who serve for less than ten years. The researcher has developed the recommendations and proposals in the search results

Problem of the study: Time is very important in educational institutions. It is also one of our contemporary problem ‚as time is a clear – cut and limited factor‚ it demands that administrators should monitor it by administering and monitoring the principles of time. Hence‚ the researcher attempts to identify the skills of administrating time and the reasons that cause the waste of time of the Heads of Departments at university of Baghdad. Significance of the research: Time is very important to all educational administrators and one of them is the institutions of Higher education. One of these is the Head of the Department. S/He has to exploit time so as to run the department properly. Aims of the research: 1- To identify the skills of administering time of the Heads of the Department in the collegesat university of Baghdad from the staffers’ points of view. 2- To identify causes of wasting the heads of department time. 3- There are statistical relationships between the skills of administering time and causes of wasting time according to (sex‚specialty‚ and years of work). Limits of the research: 1- All the staffers of the department in all colleges (scientific and humanity) at university of Baghdad. 2- All the colleges at university of Baghdad. 3- The academic year 2013 – 2014 . 4- Skills of administering time and causes of wasting time of the Heads of Department at university of Baghdad. Procedure of the research: The researcher used descriptive and analytical procedure. To achieve the aims of the present study‚ two questionnaires were designed. The firstquestionnaire consists of (63) items related to skills divided into five fields (planning‚ organization‚ orientation‚ organizational communicationand evaluation. The second one comprises (29) items that are related to causes of wasting time distributed in to two fields (external wasting and internal wasting). The questionnaires were exposed to a jury of experts to check the validity of the questionnaires. Reliability is checked by using Cronbach Formula.Then the questionnaires were applied on (427) staffers‚ i.e. ‚ (11.99%) from the original population whichis(3559) from (12) colleges which are (Women’s college of Education‚Ibn Rushed college of Education‚ Mass Media‚Administration‚ Economy‚ ArtsandLanguage) As for scientific college‚ they are ( Ibn Al- Haitham‚ Women’s college of Science‚ college of Science‚ Engineering‚ Pharmacy‚ AL- Khwarizmi Engineering). The researcher used SPSS to analyse the responses of the sample. Results of the study: 1- Heads of the department enjoy a good level of skills of administering time‚according to the responses of the staffers which are statistically significant at (0‚05%). 2- Heads of the department do not suffer from waste of time. 3- There is no a direct relationshipbetween the skills of administering time and wasting it.

Abstract The present study aims at knowing the effect of instrumental enrichment in the acquisition of geographical concepts for first grade student in intermediate school. The study is restricted in the students of first grade student in intermediate school The EducationalDirectorate of Rusafa for academic (2013/2014),for the purpose of achieving the objective, the following hypotheses: There is no statistical significant different at the level of (0.5) between the scores of the experimental group who study geography according to the instrumental enrichment and the scores of the control group who learned geographical according to the traditional methods. In order to achieve theaims of the study with matched procedure which include two groups of the study. The sample attained (80) students in Al-Simoud intermediate school for girls in the experimental group and (40) students in the experimental group who are taught according to the method and (40) student in the control group who were taught in the control group. The researcher matched the two groups in terms of: (age in time, intelligence, previous year scores in Iraq Geography and previous knowledge in geography, parent's acquisition). The researcher determined the material in the first semester for the academic year 2013/2014 in geography. It included the first four chapters in the boo The General Principles of Geography for the first grade – intermediate school. The experiment lasted 8 weeks. The researcher taught the two groups and at the end of the experiment. She applied the instrument of the study on the sample which is the acquisition posttest which she prepared in its final form in 50 items the type of multiple choice with four options. The distinction coefficient and the alternative difficulty were calculated by the use of t-test for two independent samples. The researcher used the statistical means like Pearson Coefficient and Chi-square. The results were as follows: The excel of the experimental group students who studiedgeography according to the instrumental enrichmentover the control group who learned geographical according to the traditional methods in acquisition pretest

Abstract The present study aimed to identify the problems thatthe students of College of Education, for women in Iraqia university are suffering from and how to overcome them. thesample of the study contained of (392) student which forms (20%) of the basic sample which is (2180) student, distributed on the six departments of the college they have been chosen randomly and the researcher has used the descriptive analytic method by applying one contains (67) items distributed on six fields,they are as follows: study skills field, academic field, curriculums field, students- teacher relationship field, examinations field, students family field,. The study has come with that (57) of them got a big problem the portion is (85%). (10) of them got medium problem and the portion is (10%). This indicates that theseproblemsare importantto study. the results indicated that the examination field has got the firstgrade with (2.6) average whereas the student. teacher relationship field has got the second grade with average (2.46). the curriculums field has got the third grade with average (2.43), whereas the students family field has got the fourth grade with average (2.39). The academic field has got the fifth grade with average (2.30), finally the field of study skills has got the sixth grade with average (2.04). The researcher recommends the following: 1. The necessity of taking the problems in consideration and view the solutions suggested. 2. Activate the Educational Guidance unit in the college anditsactivities to submit the guiding services to the majorityof the study problems. 3. Hold periodical meetings between the students and the deanery to activitate their relationships. 4. Patacademic method to supply the relationship between the students and the staff members which help the educational process

Abstract Smart thinking requires a continuous flexible systeroatic teaching in order that the lecturer can reach at easily, The Successful individuals in smart thin king are the most knowledgably with it,where the cognitive (intuitive- systematic) style has common bases with another cognitive styles in many traits, and these two concepts are the core of theorization of the rost important cognitive styles. The present study aims to measure the Smart thinking among university lecturers according to sex variable and recognize the statistically differences significance in the level of cognitive (intuitive- systematic) style among the university lecturers according to sex variable and recognize the correlation between smart thinking and cognitive ( intuitive- Systematic) Style among the university lecturers. The sample consists of two subsamples, the 1st is the sample of building the measures consisting of (80) males and females lecturers and the 2nd is the basic application sample consisting of (150) males and females lecturers , noting that the sample of building the measures differs from the basic application one, where the number of male lecturers is (75) and the female lecturers is (75) and the sample has been selected randomly. The researcher reaches at number of results: The subjects of the sample, according to the comparison between the mean and the hypothetical mean, have smart thinking at the significance level (0,05). 2-The subjects of the sample, according to the comparison between the mean and hypothetical mean, have cognitive (intuitive- Systematic) style at significance level (0,05) 3-There are no statistically significant differences on the measure of smart thinking according to say (male, and females ) variable le at significance level (0,05). 4-There are statistically significant differences on the measure of cognitive (intuitive- systematic) style according to sex (males and females) variable for males at the significance level (0,05). 5-There is a positive correlation be tween smart thinking and cognitive (intuitive- systematic style among university lecturers at significance level (0,05). The researcher reaches at some suggestions and conclusions

Abstract : The effect of a counseling program to develop the skills of friendship among introverts children Some children are suffering from introversion in kindergartens , so it must be confront and obviated by specialists because it will inevitably lead to unsatisfactory results reflect negatively on the individual and the community together . And the introvert child is a miserable child incapable of social interaction or give - and - take with colleagues , lack of integration of the child to life leads to the obstruction of participation with his peers in various activities. Introversion causes a real emotional deficit to the children of kindergartens which limits of possibility of their intellectual development and mental growth and that because of their isolation and poor focus in educational skills and also lack the necessary social skills to maintain the ties of friendship and the enjoyment of them. The current research aims to: 1- identifying the introverts children . 2- identifying the impact of the training program to develop the skills of friendship among introverts children of kindergartens. the experimental group and the control group that got a higher score than the theoretical average and number (28) children ( 14) children in the experimental group and (14) children in the control group , then the experimental group has exposed to the independent variable (counseling programm) and then the post - test has applied on the experimental and control groups to extract the difference between the scores of the two groups . Benefit has been gained from the analysis of open question answers and from the review of the theories and previous studies in the formulation of tool phrases (introvert behavior) , as a prelude to extract the sincerity and persistence . The researcher introduced items (introvert behavior) that consisting of (61) items on a group of experts and specialists in educational and psychological science, and asked them to express their opinion in the clarity of phrases and efficiency in every area in the fields, and after using the statistical means results showed the following: 1-The existence of statistical significance differences between the pre and post tests on the list of the introvert behavior of the experimental group and for the benefit of post - test . 2-there is no statistical significance differences between the pre and post tests for the control group . 3-The existence of statistical significance differences between grades of scores of the experimental group and the control group on the list of introvert behavior after the application of the program and this due to the impact of the program and its effectiveness . 4-The lack of statistical significance differences between grades of scores of the experimental group in the first post tests and second posttest (delayed) , which was executed a month after the first post-test . In the light of the following results and put some of the recommendations and the following proposals have been set

Abstract Targeted the current study to identify the emotional violence against the study sample of children and to identify the significance difference in the degree of emotional violence, according to the variables of age, sex (female / male) and limited the current study, the primary school children in the departments of Rusafa second and first Karkh in Baghdad for the academic year 2012 - 2013, as has been selected sample randomly simple sample of schools and a sample of children, and who meets the study variables (sex / age) as the sample reached 200 children by 50 children from four elementary that have been selected for the study sample, either regard tool The study researchers have adopted a measure (Mr. 2013) emotional violence, as has been verified scale extraction of psychometric properties (validity / stability) and after verifying the validity of the scale was the final application to verify the objectives of the study, the study found that children aged (6-7- 9-11) subjected to emotional violence, as well as the study found that there was no statistically significant emotional violence depending on the variables of sex, age and lack of interaction between the two variables differences (sex / age), Suggests researcher to conduct a comparative study on the emotional violence in children displaced others and peers displaced can also be a comparative study on the emotional violence in the countryside and the city, as recommended by researchers under the guidance of the Ministry of Education to educate teachers evils of violence for children and draw their attention to the impact on their future psychological and social establishment of educational courses for teachers and parents.

Undesirable behaviors for university students by their instructors view Undesirable behaviors among students are consider one of the danger problems threating societies and educational and scientific institutions of countries because its one of the way to express aggression , so the instructors consider one of the most important people could be trust their evaluation and logical view , therefore the present research aimed to : 1. Recognize undesirable behavior in students of University by the view of their instructors 2. Measure the level of undesirable behavior in students of university by the view of their instructors 3. Recognize more common undesirable behavior in students of University by the view of their instructors 4. Recognize undesirable behavior in students of University according to , range and percentage 5. The researcher built scale of undesirable behavior in students of University by the view of their instructors contains from (33) items distributing on three Field (verbal behaviors, motion and group behaviors, the results appears : 1. the mean sample was (102) degree is higher than hypothetical mean which was (82.5) degree is significantly effect in (5 %) 2. the most common behaviors are , agreement of group absence , postpone the exam for un logical excuse . while the less common behaviors was , laughing without real reason in class , discussion without respect 3. undesirable behavior in students of University by the view of their instructors contains underline second level (high) with (54 – 74 ) range because of (32) frequency ratio at 51 % . According to results ,the researcher concluded with recommendations and suggestions

The Research summary The current research aims to identify the impact of the amputated story style in the collection of sixth graders in elementary in the written expression subject. The researcher, intentionally, chose Al-Ameen primary hybrid school which belongs to the directorate of education in Baghdad / Karkh first. The number of people of the sixth grade three classes. The researcher chose the two classes randomly to represent one of the experimental group, the number (32) pupils (male and female) have studied the expression subject by the amputated story style. Other control group, the number (32) pupils studied according to the traditional method. The researcher prepared the lesson plans and presented to the experts, the researcher chose eight texts presented to a group of experts to select five of them to represent the search tool, the researcher statistically processed her data by using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the bilateral test for two independent samples, and (Ka2 square). The most important findings of the research is the outweigh of the pupils of the experimental group over the control group students in the written expression subject. The researcher concluded to the advantage of teaching by using the narrative texts when teaching the written expression subject by the amputated story style for students in sixth grade, because of its role to support the performance of expression when the students will balance the traditional manner, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract This research aims to find out "the effectiveness of the self-questioning strategy in the achievement of students Phase III institutes of teacher preparation and decision-making in chemistry." The researcher follows approach quasi-experimental with a post-test, and the sample consisted of (27) from " Teachers Training Institute-AL-Byaa "in Directorate of Education Baghdad Karkh / 2 students divided into two unequal groups: experimental its number (14) students studied using reciprocal teaching strategy and control its number (13) students have studied in the usual way.The two groups were equivalent extraneous variables. The researcher was prepare achievement test consist of 40 items was the adoption of a measure of decision-making are from (20) paragraph and make for both validity and reliability and statistical analysis to items,The results of search was revealed Superiority of the experimental group that studied in accordance with the self-questioning strategy to a control group in the achievement and decision-making.

Summary of the research: The concept of self is considered one of the important dimensions in the human personality, because feeling of self is an important characteristic in this phase from the psychological point of view. The first source which forms the concept of self is the physical image, where the built and appearance of the body is considered among the vital matters which determine the person's image of himself/herself. The current research aims to: 1) Identify the level of physical self concept at the kindergarten children. 2) Identify the level of psychological self concept at the kindergarten children. 3) Identify the level of social self concept at the kindergarten children. The researcher prepared a scale for physical, psychological and social self-concept which consists of (120) items. The research's sample consisted of (50) children who were randomly chosen from five kindergartens in Alkarkh side. The kindergartens were randomly chosen and the questionnaire was distributed to the teachers to answer its items. The coincidence and stability were derived from this scale's items, where the researcher used the T-Test equation for the sample and society and the Pearson correlation coefficient equation in deriving the coincidence and stability and analyzing the results. The results showed that the kindergarten child has a physical self concept and it develops with age and experiences. Children do not have a psychological or social self concept.

Abstract During recent decades, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis lost their lives as a result of wars, economic blockade, or acts of violence and terrorism. The loss of a family member, especially husband makes women suddenly bears full responsibility for the family. Lost could impose new changes in psychological, social, and economical roles. These changes usually combine with the negative effects aftermath the lost trauma. Some of the reports in Iraq showed there were increased and huge numbers of widows and orphans. This study aimed to identify the aspects of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) in Iraq women who lost their close relatives (especially husbands). 52 of Iraqi women who lost their husband and 49 women who experienced other traumatic events participated in the study. Posttraumatic Growth Inventory was used to collect data. The results showed that women who lost their husband had different levels of growth. There were no significant differences in all growth areas according variables: state of losing (killing or unknown) , number of lost person.

Abstract The present study discusses the problem based learning in Iraqi classroom. This method aims to involve all learners in collaborative activities and it is learner-centered method. To fulfill the aims and verify the hypothesis which reads as follow” It is hypothesized that there is no statistically significant differences between the achievements of Experimental group and control group”. Thirty learners are selected to be the sample of present study.Mann-Whitney Test for two independent samples is used to analysis the results. The analysis shows that experimental group’s members who are taught according to problem based learning gets higher scores than the control group’s members who are taught according to traditional method. This means that problem based learning has positive effect on the learners’ achievement. In the light of the results, a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions are put forward.

Slow learning subject regard of new subject attract the attention in the last years of the 20th century where the attention was focusing on the other disabilities but the existence of number of healthy children suffering from Learning problems attract the attention of the researchers . So , this study aims at recognizing the degree of self , concept among slow learner students and the differences significance of self concept according to sex and academic degree of parents variables. Because there is not tool , the researcher build a tool of self concept depending on the agreed scientific procedures of the validity and applied it on a sample consists of (zoo) male and female students in Baghdad at AL – kark and AL – Risafa sides . The researcher used the suitable statistical methods in the processing of information , where T.test of two independence samples to calculate the differences significance according to sex variable , T. test to find differences according to Academic degree of parents variable and scheffaes test for post hoc comparison to find differences in self concept according to different academic degrees of parents . The results show the slow learners have appositive self concept there are differences in self concept for female , and there are statistical significant differences for the higher degree the researcher Rogers Finally, the researcher concluded with some of recommendations and suggestions in the light of the results.

Research summary The goal of the research is to identify prevailing values in Kurdish children’s stories, and statistically significant differences between groups. In the theoretical framework, the definitions of values are reviewed. Furthermore, a range of previous studies were offered, with the most important findings. To achieve the goals of this research, an amount of 14 Kurdish children’s must be analyzed. The selected Kurdish children’s stories must be translated to Arabic conform the classification ’White’. After confirming the stability of this tool, the researcher reached the following results: The cognitive and physical values received the highest ratios, while the moral, practical, patriotic and nationalistic values received the lowest. The researcher also found that there are statistically significant differences between repeating the note and expected frequencies in the totals for physical and recreational values. The researchers believe that this result was consistent with the fact that knowledge is the basis of building cognitive levels, and that the writers gave importance to that aspect. Also, physical values at such a high rank are in harmony with the nature of childhood, characterized by activity and vitality. As a addition to another fact, related to the geographical nature of the Kurdish region, which is characterized by the mountains and the valleys, which require high physical energy to survive it.

Research Summary The Motivation of Students Toward Enrolling to Education College Departments in Tikrit University The research aims to identify motivated to join the Evening Studies students to the College of Education at the University of Tikrit sections. In addition to knowledge of the differences in the degree of motivation of students according to gender, specialty, educational stage. To achieve the objectives of the research scholar us a measure consisting of (34) paragraph formulated positively, have been applied to a stratified random sample strength (500) students. The results showed that the degree of motivation was very big on all areas of the college and class, reaching the percentage of response (84.3%), and professional motives came first prize as a percentage of (93.8%), in addition to the lack of statistically significant differences motives in enrollment due to the variable sex and specialization, with statistically significant differences due to the variable phase of study and in favor of the first phase. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including: appropriate to accept Evening Studies students develop a policy with an emphasis on the principle of quality, not quantity, and the promotion of investment and the motives of the enrollment of students in motivating them to develop their professional performance
