Tropes and their transformations in the Surrealist painting

Abstract

The research problem entitled: (metaphor and their transformations in surrealist painting) ,is dealing with the nature of metaphors' concept, and mechanisms of how it is operated in the contemporary global achievement .This research consisted of (4) four parts, the first part is dealing with the methodological framework of the search, represented the research problem ,which is manifested through the study of metaphor and their transformations, that have been correlated with the themes of surrealist painting in Europe, which is crystallized into two objectives as follows: - Identification the concept of metaphor in the field of visual and intellectual. - Exploring the metaphor and its transformations in the visual system to the surrealist painting. The second chapter, represented the theoretical framework, it contains three sections, Section one addressing: The metaphor: the concept and the meaning in the visual field, the second section is dealing with the transformations techniques of shows in the composition art, while the third section is dealing with the study of art shift between concepts and realities. The third chapter is associated with the research procedures, represented by the applications of the metaphor in surrealist painting, and then ensure identification of the research population and its sample (4) models, then search tool and sample analysis. While the fourth chapter, included the results of the research , the conclusions , recommendations and proposals, the researcher has reached to a set of results to answer the two goals of search, including; 1. The optical surface is interpenetrate by activating the movement of the line, and correlated to indicative act, in order to achieve the optical displacement of visual metaphor, and that leads to loss objectivity relationships. 2. Displacement of optical systems for its objectivity circle through the activation of forms and dynamic way mechanism, embodies semantic discourse which often gives by his mystery intense poetic dialogue, strengthen the role of the legendary reference. The researcher reached to a set of conclusions and then a list of sources and references

Abstract

This research concerned with studying act in contemporary painting , based on the role played by the act in achieving the structure of plastic art work artistically and aesthetically . The study consisted of three chapters: In the first one (the methodological framework) the problem has been displayed and the research aimed to detect : 1. The concept of the act in the structure of contemporary painting . 2. The impact of the act in the formation of the artistic style . as well as putting its boundaries represented in artistic movements : Abstract Expressionism , Pop Art and Conceptual Art within the period between 1945 and until the end of the seventh decade of the twentieth century. The Chapter II (theoretical framework) consisted of three sections : the first interested in the concept of the act . The second was the concept of the act in the art of painting . The third concerned with artistic Movements which are the subject of the study. The end of the Chapter was the indicators resulting from it . The third chapter included research procedures. The study found a set of results , including : 1. The concept of the act in contemporary painting to activate the visual elements in such process that achieve the launch of its effectiveness, as this activation is through the creation of relationships between these elements share the impact and vulnerability within the formal structure already achieved the same. 2. The activation of matter energies in the postmodern painting was made by the technical and performances processes , and These processes of references back to the modes of modern painting , but it has seen in the postmodern painting breaking new ground and wide by the transformation of thought , change attitudes towards the artwork. 3. The act is the one who achieves the style according to the artistic and aesthetic vision of each artistic movement in the postmodern painting

Abstract

The Transformation of environments surrounding human which called (place), formed an intermediate compresser in forming awareness pictures, human knowledge, culture and thought features, and changing the systems and contexts of human societies, which led to a change the rhythm of life as a whole. So according to that the place will be encodes according to these data for psychological connotations, lead to human sense of harmony with the place in different manner format, here the search problem lies when trying to detect how Iraqi artist deliberating with the place concept, wondering how to investing place in the contemporary Iraqi drawing within its reference dimension, and showing mechanisms from comparative study for the works of two artists, who formed the place element a radical axis in their works, how are each of the artist Nuri al-Rawi, and the artist Saad al-Tai. And the place within the data human culture and thought, represents civilizational reference and national privacy, and the art dimension is a part of data of human culture and thought. So it carries a great mutants for the place. Hence the importance of research comes to be as a new dimension on the level of critical analysis to detect the references and attributes of this concept in the identity of Iraqi art. So the search aims: to detect referential dimension of place in the Iraqi drawing among contemporary contexts, and showing it in the work of artists Nuri al-Rawi and Saad al-Tai. Based on the correlation of both - knowledge and place, for that each of this knowledge founded its theories about the concept of place, both according to its data and orientations, as the problem of the place is from philosophical problems which be placed within the circle of simple search even to be impossible of the same place, but the concept of the place was more fortunate in the field of philosophical studies in general, and monetary and literary and artistic especially, so had to stand starting from the concept of the place, and the theory of place in art and literature from the perspective of aesthetic and semantic, of where correlation between place and time for literary space with creativity space. On this basis, many descriptions developed for the place types, correlated with the most important concepts within the dialectic forming place within the field of fine arts, which are include: real place, symbolic place, assumption place, and imagined place. And then shed light on the mechanisms represent the place in trends of modern art (global and Iraqi), which varied from symbolic realistic representation for inherited significances reaching to absent the place or neglect its recipes and breakdown from domination imposed by its selected, or attempt to openness to the space of place in the work, which skips the boundaries of time and history. After analyzing the samples that have been chosen are intentional, came researcher outcome of the most important: that the place manifestation different levels of expression at each of the artist Al-Rawi and artist Al-Tai, the Rawi was often clings to supposed place, while Tai moved from supposed place to symbolic place to the imagined place, the Al-Rawi often transcend on the realistic to place and transmit them to places with ideal characteristics, while Al-Tai transmitting recipes of example on the landscape seems to be linked to reality. And the place for Rawi reflects oftenly an externally part (village), but for Tai reflecting external parts and internal (special and private). The place devoid of all that is emotive in Al-Rawi, so its place are rapting meditating, while Al-Tai places are more emotive and movement from Al-Rawi places. In addition to the general results included the concept of place and its relationship with characteristics of the formation of the artwork

Abstract

Picasso ceramics represented illuminated sign in ceramic art and excelled in accord ceramic art dimension aesthetically, and put it in a new prospects, despite the simplicity of the forms turn into a magical images and multiple interpretations. So the search deliberately to choose purposive (37) samples divided into four groups, as follows: - A flat shapes / palets or saucers / the vases /modified vases . benefiting from indicators were spawned from literature ,to analyzing samples within the totals for the identification systems act forming art work`s:- (1)Picasso's ceramic work product of a deliberate process represented a capacity of technical experience, and formal (2)The system configuration in the ceramic art works carried out in a form having (two or more) systems act`s in the same time, with the Dominance of one without the other, as follows: (A) in the sample flat shapes, we find that there are three systems moved shapes, the system (Stenography) is dominant in addition to the system (geometrical), and (narrative), which contrast attending (B) the system (regular narrative) essential front-line state in the forms in palets, and (Stenography) system Secondly supplement to image. (C) in vases formed by wheel which dominates the (iconic character) of form, the system (magnifying) is prevailing with a (Stenograph) as a systematic art forming. (D) in developed vases, the artist Override the (traditional) form to get a new relations (innovative), dominated by (Stenography) Producing shapes and (aesthetic)system of forms and line, and color in this group

Abstract

The pharmacy is the face for the health buildings and hospitals, The linking professional relationships and functional, it is been from the important places that most people go it, so according to that we must format its interior design in form that suitable with the need of most people use it or work in it, and this the search goal, dashing from the search subject which to hide finding designer treatment for the pharmacies interior spaces, to give share in the functional improvement performance or aesthetic. We define the search goals to share in educate the pharmacist in the effect of interior design for improvement of interior environment, in addition to the search consider as designer trying add to the other trying the interior design, and to open knowledge wanderer for searcher in this specialization. In the second chapter II contain the theoretical framework which it included two sections, the first unit contain the interior spaces for pharmacies which contain the nature of these spaces and then attributes. The second section contains the organization spaces for pharmacies, and spatial relationships and motional. The third chapter contains the search from method and search society and the search intent sample, and the search tool used in and it is analyzing form, and then descript the sample and analyzing it. And later contain the fourth chapter the result which search reach to it through analyzing, then the conclusions with the proposal and recommendations

Abstract

The visual attraction of the fundamentals that require the availability in the design business, to achieve the needs of different social interactive and the need for recreation or entertainment as well as financial need and as such has considered the importance of a researcher studying the mechanics of visual attractions in the interior spaces have been identified according to the research problem the following question: What are the mechanisms of visual attractions in the interior spaces and the current research aims to Recruitment mechanisms of visual attractions in the design of interior spaces as determined by three research limits are: • Reduce the objective: the mechanics of visual attraction. • Reducing the spatial: Shops selling baby clothes to Rusafa. • Reduce temporal: 2010-2012 . It was known researcher of terms related to the subject matter, namely: (mechanics, visual attraction) The second chapter covered the theoretical framework has included three main themes, namely: 1. Stimuli affecting the visual attraction. 2. Design considerations of space through the internal structural elements and aesthetics of interior space design. 3. Relations of the design space of procedure. The third chapter dealt with research procedures and results and conclusions of the researcher remember some of them: 1. Poor design or construction of the idea led to the lack of visual attraction. Through the selection of people who are not with specialization or experience, which has lost a lot of internal space design featured on the impact of the recipient. 2. There are a lot of the absence of sensory effects and formal, which draws our attention because of their characteristics affecting the visual perception of the visual attraction exception of the sample (1). 3. Weak ties design in terms of the presence of power optical affecting them and the adoption of a recipe simplicity and abstraction in structural elements of the space of the internal led to the weakness of excitement in the structure design, as it can be achieved by the excitement through the mechanics of unity, balance and rhythm and contrast, contrast, harmony and compatibility with leading this diversity to enrich the inner space . Then came the recommendations and proposals as follows: 1. This research discussed analytically based on intellectual institutions and theoretical landscape theater as artistic phenomenon depends on the compounds interacting overlapping mechanism visualization and dazzling Whatever the dilemma it a set of Alaqcar differ among themselves but in the result unit intellectual holds through difference and diversity between trends and styles and ways in design theorist theatrics Valashkalah on apparently formed through variations and different points of view through the philosophy of transformation and interpretation and assignment to offer privacy. Valashkalah pulled in the design theorist theatrical as system training to arrange time and place and in line with the interpretation of speech text and this is linked to awareness - when the designer - and director through Zhnihm and see shapes and configurations through contradiction or agreement for that has divided the researcher discussed into four chapters. Chapter One - systematic framework which guarantees the research problem and its importance and the need for him and his goals, limitations and concluded the following chapter defines terminology (the dilemma - theatrical theorist). Chapter II - has contained a theoretical framework for research and previous studies, including the three sections: 1 - The first topic: the theatrical scene. 2 - The second topic: theatrical scene in the Iraqi theater (historical perspective). 3 - The third topic: theatrical scene between problematic director and designer. The chapter concluded indices to which each theoretical framework. Abstract

The importance of this research in studying the actor life existence on the stage through the performance art;where as all the literary theatrical dimensions didn't ignore the importance of the actor's performance. So, it is shed a light on the nature of the scenery in the actor's performance and what its representations in the temporary directions. The research set off from the imitation as a human instinct to the performance of the actor in post-modernity theater; so the researcher found that there is a question must be answered which is :Is the actor live a regression state in his theatrical performance ,or that the performance of the actor connect with collective conscience of human being which is repeated in certain conditions for the actor? Here, the researcher answers on these questions through presenting the performance scenery through the most important theatrical dimensions

Abstract

This study has came as a result to discover on the references of the educational theories which leads the professors in the educational art departments in the Iraqi universities through knowing these ideological references indeed in an important slice of the society. This slice is: the members of professoriate. The study goal knows the ideological references to these theories for the professors in these departments. In order to approve the research's goals. The researcher has selected a sample contains (50) professoriate members in these departments in the Iraqi universities which they have the educational art profession among the next scientific degrees (assistant teacher. teacher. assistant professor & professor). The researcher has prepared a questionnaire which contains about (165) elements which represents the basic scientific & philosophic to each theory. These theories has been divided into 4 directions are (the behavioral. cognitive. human & social sides). This tool has been confirmed & it's firm stability by the suitable statistical methods. Then the questionnaire's in its' final images true & special according to things what hold it from. The tool is stable. The connection agent was (0.86) by using the re-stability method. And after the researcher has confirmed from the reality from both of tool & subjectivity. It's putting into effect on the selected sample from the professoriate in this college's department to show the next: 1. The theories (behavioral. human & social) hasn’t be accepted as a usual references between the professoriates' in these departments. 2. these mentionedtheories according to the average as the next: A-the cognitive Attitude B- the social Attitude C-The behavioral Attitude D-The human Attitude According to these results. The researcher has arrives to some conclusions which they are: 1. There isn't any existence to any clear & defined reference taken by each one of the professoriates. It's a normal result for this art doesn't having any educational clear & defines philosophy. 2. The cognitive side's appearance to these theories in the 1st place returns to the associated features to this direction with the general directions to the art education. This makes it the strong candidate chosen by the teacher as an ideological to guide it ideas. 3. The mutual approach of the arithmetic mean presents clear evidence on what we living today as a state of conflict between the ideological prevalent currents in the educational mediums & not depending on a defined & clear philosophy which can put the society inside it. The researcher has recommended according to the results of his research which they are: 1. Taking to account on build the statics of the art education to study the theories of educating in departments of this art. 2. present to each member who joins the teaching carrier in the university either as a lecturer or who's selected as a member of professoriate the (trend) subject in the education theories in order to knowing what this theories & educational schools from conceptions & a different methods. 3. Hold a conference or a symposium which all the educational & scientific directions specialized in this branch in order to make imagination to an educational clear philosophy based on the fact which helps us to fact what we're dreaming from teaching this profession. The researcher has introduced some kind of Suggestions: 1. Made a similar study on the member of the professoriate with change the tool. And it prefers to take the note facing in the information collecting. 2. Make another study about the educational directed philosophy to the performance of the professoriate in the the art education departments and comparing them with another countries which has advanced in this profession. 3. Make a study about the references of the education theories in both of teachers & professors of the art education departments in both of the primary & secondary schools to know the effect's level by the characters of the professors which they’ve been prepared by them during their preparation period
