abstract Standards and quality controls for information technology applications to serve the Holy Quran D. Eman Abdel Karim theeb Saleh al-Jubouri Iraqi university College of Education / Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences Iraq Abstract - the research goal is preparing a list of standard criteria and quality controls for information technology applications to serve the Holy Quran. To achieve this goal, the researcher has built a list of criteria according to the following steps: First - identify the key areas covered by the whole list which are: 1 – Standards of system building and implementing with the operating screens. 2 – Standards of display forms including audio and video presentation. 3 – Standards which are related to the program philosophy. 4 - Standards which are related to the program objectives. 5 - Standards which are related to the program content. 6 - Standards which are related to sources and learning strategies. 7 - Standards which are related to the program educational activities. 8 - Standards which are associated with the amending and immediate feedback. 9 - Standards which are associated to the learners. 10 - Standards which are related to the methods of interaction between the learner and the program. 11 - Standards which are related to technical aspects. 12 - Standards which are related to the administrative aspects of the production. Secondly - the formulating of items: The researcher formulated items standard according to the areas they represent, and organized them in the form of a closed questionnaire which were in their first form like (17, 22, 18, 27, 33, 12, 15, 21, 23, 14, 19, 11) items. There items were arranged respectively according to their areas to become (232). And the resolution was presented to a group of educational arbitrators and specialists in technology, curriculum, teaching methods, educational technology, measurement and evaluation in Iraqi universities to determine the validity of each item and its suitability according its area. The researcher used three choices for each item (appropriate, inappropriate, need to be modified), and asked them to propose other additional items if it is required. The researcher has shown the experts that the arbitration process will be achieved according to the Delphi method of all three rounds to reach the highest level of scientific accuracy. The resolution has been processed by calculating the weighted average of each item in addition to the weight percentile according to the Fisher equation. All the items have an average above the value and a high weighted percentage in general. The items were re-ordered depending on the strength of each item and the value of Centennial weight. The expert mentioned observations and suggestions to amending item(s) or dissociate some of the items into two items. In addition to integrate some other items and delete others bringing the number of items to (210). Then the researcher transfer list of criteria to card calendar specific measured each item weight listed on the ladder graded four (excellent, very good, good, poor) were given weights following (0, 1, 2, 3) to evaluate the quality control standards for IT applications programmed To serve the Holy Quran. The researcher codified items card in order to make sure its Validity to the attention of a number of arbitrators specialists in the field of technology and curriculum and teaching methods and educational technology and measurement and evaluation to express their point of view about the clarity of each item and whether they are true in the measure placed for him, has expressed Important Notes and the value of satisfied researcher by and conducted against which the necessary adjustments, bringing the number of items observation card (204) item have been calculated researcher Reliability of the card across individuals using the method of Cooper to calculate the coefficient of agreement between the observers and that counts the number of times the agreement and the number of times the difference between the observers, it is clear that all transactions fortitude to analyze researcher with the observed first , The researcher observed with the second, and first observed with the second Notably, a high rank as follows (84.8%, 86.9%, 89.7%), and this means that the analysis tool was a high level of consistency, which gives an indication of the possibility of using the tool. Abstract The right of a child to obtain a sufficient quantity and variety, healthy and safe from the elements in the food and breakfast is one of the most important rights to be able to perform his mental and physical properly and sound. And that not eating breakfast leads to delayed maturation of mental function as well as behavior problems, and that this is happening due to the decline of taken daily for some important nutrients during the first four years of the child's age, also affect the performance of the mental processes, especially (attention, perception, memory) because the child in the process of growth, which is determined by the dimensions of physical, mental and motor and cognitive task at this stage. Research has identified goals Do you know: 1 - cognition in children Kindergarten 2 - statistically significant differences in cognition depending on the levels of breakfast (low, medium, high). 3 - correlation between meal Alaftorldy children, Kindergarten according to cognitive variables: stage (first class, second) and sex (male, female). 4 - the differences in the relationship between breakfast with kindergarten children and cognitive variables according to a - stage (first class- second) b - sex (males - females). To achieve the goals of research selected sample of children Riyadh in the city of Baghdad was (420) boys and girls were selected from (12) kindergarten random method Tabiqih rate (35) child of every kindergarten has the researcher calculates the nutrients and energy in the breakfast through outsource laboratories Institute nutrition Research at the Ministry of Health also has built (3) tests mentality is (attention, perception, memory) has offered these three tests on a group of arbitrators, experts and specialists in educational and psychological sciences, who are (15) expert to demonstrate the validity of the items of the scale, has been used researcher indicators of sincerity are (honesty virtual and certified construction) either the stability tests were extracted researcher for each test two types of stability has reached stability coefficient to test the attention in a way re-test (0.73) and the way retail midterm (0.75) and total reliability coefficient for testing cognition in a way re-test (0.80) and the way retail midterm (0.82) and total reliability coefficient to test the memory in a way re-test (0.76) and the way retail midterm (0.78). In light of the goals of current research and after the application of the tests on the sample and analyze their responses statistically using a test t-for one sample correlation coefficient Point Baacyrial and testing t-testing Zaúa to denote correlation coefficients and analysis of variance test (Scheffe) research found the following results: 1 - The children of Kindergarten eat foods with high nutritional value. 2 - The children of Kindergarten eat nutritious foods more than non-nutritious foods. 3 - that provide health diets higher energy diets unhealthy. 4 - Enjoy the sample children Kindergarten a ttentively and recognize and remember loud. 5 - the breakfast of high and medium nutritional value covered only children more than the low level of food. 6 - There is no difference between firstclass and second in eating meals of high nutritional value. 7 - no statistically significant differences between males and females in eating a meal high nutritional value and in favor of females. In light of the results of research and the researcher has developed a number of recommendations are: - 1 - Provide nutrition free school for the children of Kindergarten by the Ministry of Education, taking into account the quantity and quality of the nutritional value of the food provided to them. 2 - Attention kids good diet Integrated quality and quantity that contains animal protein through the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the contents of the ration card. 3 - to deepen the culture of food for the families of Iraqi across various media. 4 - television to announce a significant effect on the culture and behavior of children, so it was necessary to censor any formal program or diet food advertising on television. 5 - directing media and propaganda that serves food to the goals of health and an emphasis on food with high nutritional value. 6 - Giving children healthy eating habits significantly through the publication of booklets colorful child-oriented distributed free of charge. 7 - on the administration to monitor the development of kindergarten children by measuring the weight, height and head size and comparing the global standard

Abstract The research aim to know the effect of note–taking by computer method as amentalactivators in achievement of physics subject for the first intermediate class students. To investigate from aim of the research the research sample was chosen from the first intermediate class students in Al–mutamyzat secondary school for girls. Which belongs to the general administration for the second karkh education which randomly chosen from (9) schools for distinct female students in Baghdad. Then randomly chosen two sections form three about (80) female students at (66.667%) from total sample it’s about (120) female student in the three sections. The randomly chosen too, section (a) to represent experimental group it’s about (41) female students at (34.167%) and the section (g) represent the control group it’s about (39) female students at (32.5%) from the research society then the experimental and control groups design with apost–test was chosen the two groups have been equalization in the two variables that is (the female students g achievement in physics and mathematics subjects for mid year) and in another variable swhich effect on rocedure of the research. Then the experimental group female students was teaching by using note–taking by computer method as mentalactivators but the control female students was teaching by traditional method for physics subject before that the researcher put the special aim sand the behavior objectives in the light of bloom classification and she makes the teaching plane swhich was exposing them of specialists in physics and its teaching methods to ascertain from their validity for application. Then the esearcher prepared an achievement post-test which kind multiple–hoice with three chosen depend on the physics subjects include (38) items in the light of bloom classification by remember, understanding, and application level. It’s by using half–spilt method and the persone quation the reliability was (0.75) and correct that by using spearman–brown equation (r21) it was (0.85) the experiment was conducted in these condterm of the academic year (2012–2013). The data were statistically processed by using t-test formula for two Unequal independent samples then the stand by hypothesis was accepted that’s there is statistic significant difference at (0.05) level between two averages for the female students which studied by using note–taking by computer method and for the female student which studied by using the traditional method in achievement for physics subject for the first intermediate class. Then in the light of the research results the researcher commended the education mainstay and higher teaching mainstay to adoption for the note–taking by computer method to training the physics teacher to use it in their teaching and include it in the decision of the curriculum and the researcher suggested to makes imilar studies in several subjects and the stages of study to know it effect in achievement end another variables.

The researcher had been used in the research two tools: First one is Problem-Solving Measure; the researcher built it, and after extracting its psychometric features, the scale finally became composed of (53) items.Where as the second tool is the Need-for-Cognition Scale according to Cacioppo & Petty theory, and extracted its psychometric features which consisted of (18) items. The following statistical methods were employed: Chi-Squared test , the second test for two separates samples, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Cronbach’s Alpha formula, Strength of Excellence formula, Difficulty of Period Formula, the wrong alternative activity formula, Dual Dot Correlation Coefficient, Kuder-Richardson formula, Spearman Corrective formula, One Sample Dual Test, Interaction-based Variance Dual Analysis, Scheffe’s Test for Post Comparisons

Abstract The aim of this study is to find out the effect of reciprocal teaching on the fifth literary class pupils in acquiring the skill of geographic map reading. The researcher uses the partial experimental design/pre- post-test for two equivalent control and experimental groups. The population of the study is represented by the fifth literary class pupils at a school of the Directorate of Education /Baghdad Karkh second. The sample is selected randomly as section (A) the experimental group and section (C) the control group. The sample total number is (60) pupils, (30) pupils for each group. The two groups are equalized in the following variables: IQ, age and the pupils’ previous geographic information. The procedures are represented by selecting the subject matter, constructing a checklist of map reading skills, preparing (21) lesson plans for each group and constructing a test of (20)items for measuring the geographic map reading skills. The face validity is verified by giving the test to the experts. The pilot study is applied on two groups to find out the suitability of the items, the test time and the test analysis to find out the difficulty and discrimination power for each item. The reliability of the test is also verified. The T-test of two independent groups is used for finding out the results. The results show that there are statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group. Therefore several recommendations and suggestions are set foreword.

Abstract The current study aimed at identifying the impact of each of the full and part time summer enrichment programs on the performance of gifted students. Moreover, it aimed to study the difference between the full and part time programs on the performance of gifted students. The study sample consisted of (115) students from the full time programs and (137) students from the part time programs, they have been randomly selected from the gifted students participating in the full and part time summer enrichment programs. The researcher used the scale of student performance. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the full time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Furthermore, the results showed a statistically significant difference between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs in the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, critical thinking skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Whereas, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs on the dimension of motivation. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, scientific research skills, creative thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance in favor of the full time programs. While the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (critical thinking, and problem solving). Results were discussed in light of the research literature, and some recommendations related to the results of the research topic were presented.

Research summary The goal of this research is to identify superstition that university students have in Libya and Iraq, with a comparison between the two. Furthermore, this research aims to identify significant differences in superstition among university students according to gender, study grade and study course. The researcher explored the historical development of superstition and some explanatory theories of this human phenomenon. He also presented a number of previous foreign and Arab researches. He also designed a questionnaire on common superstitious ideas among university students in both Iraq and Libya. This research found that in 7 sections, university students in Iraq got a high weighted mean, while Libyan university students got a high weighted mean in 8 sections. There was found that these common superstitious ideas among university students in Iraq and Libya, were saturating various needs and objectives. Some of these carry optimistic views, while the other part carries pessimistic view and expect damage. Also the research found that females, and first years students, and students with humanitarian specialization, believe more in superstition than male students, students of the fourth grade and students with scientific specializations. These results were identical in both Iraq and Libya.

Abstract The present study aims at knowing the reasons of the student of secondary school abstention from participation in the theatrical activity, and to know the reasons that resulted in this abstention. In addition to that, the study aims at knowing the differences according to variables (gender, scholastic stage, and major of study). The sample of the study was chosen from the secondary schools in Baghdad in the random manner from Al-Karakh and Al-Rusafa districts of (147) students. The questionnaire was used to collected data. The result showed that all the items are intense, the item of (Students do not know how to use their leisure time) obtained the highest degree of tense followed by the item (The rarity of schools specialized in theatrical arts). The two items that got the same degree of intensity are (The conditions of some students prevent them from practicing some activities) and (the crowdedness in the school day and the curricula). These items represented the most intense reasons in addition to other reasons that make student abstain from participating in theatrical activities, the result also shows: 1- There are (29) intense reasons behind the student of secondary school abstention from participation in the theatrical activity. 2- The variable of gender has an effect on the students’ abstention from participation in the theatrical activity, between: a. Male and female students of intermediate stage for male. b. Male students of secondary school and male student of intermediate stage for male student of intermediate stage. c. The students of secondary school (male and female) and intermediate stage students (male and female) for the intermediate stage student. 3- There are no statistical differences between the scientific major male students and the scientific major female students. 4- There are no statistical differences between the literary major male students and the literary major female students. 5- There are no statistical differences between the scientific major students and the literary major students.

Abstract : Recent research looking for acknowledgment of strategically influence of Robinson and self question at progressing the reading comprehension for students of sixth class . To achieve research goal so the researcher mentally chose primary sixth class at the school (Tashti the primary) that followed education directorate of province (Jamjamal)/Suliymania for the scholastic year 2012-2013 as application field for their experiment of boys' number reached to (95) (female and male)students in reality (32) of the first experimental group and (31) student (female and male) from controlled group, the researcher rewarded between of three variable groups (timing period, intelligence ,Kurdish language degrees for the previous scholastic year). The experiment continued as full semester (first term) wherein the teacher has been taught the item of three researches groups And prepared of typical and statistical test of reading comprehension consists of (35) clause from the test type as multi and repeating of words arrangements and for their mixing and complementary and upon specified with honest and firm and the researcher used the statistical methods as follow: the analyzing of unique contraction and the equivalent of difficulty coefficient and the equivalent of Codur Richardson and the equivalent of the wrong alternatives activity and the experiment finished of the resultant implementation test and the research's results were discharged and showed the first experimental group that studied the reading item according to Robinson strategies and the second experimental strategies that studied the reading item according to self questioning strategy on the controlled group as showed for no differentiation between the first and second group

And that there is a set of ideas and beliefs irrationality be is Responsible for most Alaztrapat psychological, so that when people accept Alaztrapat and distractions inherent in irrational thoughts, they tend to become Mekputin-Mntoan, so this study was an attempt to uncover the relationship between the unit and psychological ideas irrationality and the goal Current search to identify: 1- psychiatric unit level among the students of the university. 2-identify the significance of differences in the psychological unity according to the variable type (male-female) 3-level ofirrationalityideasamong the students ofthe university. 4-recognize the significance of differences in irrational thoughts on variable according to type (male-female). 5-detect correlation between psychological and Alavcarellaaklanah unity among the students of the university. And identifies students of Mustansiriya University and both sexes (male- females) for the academic year 2014-2015, reaching the research sample (175) were randomly selected from three colleges, and resulted in the search results as follows: First, that the sample individuals do not have the psychological unit. Secondly, there were statistically significant differences in the psychological unity between males and females in favor of females, any sense that females are more psychological tendency of the unit. Third: that members of the research sample have no thoughts of irrationality. Fourth: There are no statistically significant differences in the level of irrational thoughts between males and females. Fifth: The results showed that there is no correlation function between the unit and psychological ideas depending on the irrationality of the sample as a whole.

Abstract The present study aimed to: 1 - To identify the leisure time activities among young people university . 2 - To identify statistically significant differences in leisure time activities among the students of the university depending on the variable. Gender (male , female ) and the study sample consisted of (152) students from the University of Baghdad College of Education, Ibn al-Haytham was randomly selected by (67) of the males and(85) females and dish them a measure of leisure-time activities that the researcher has ever built and achieved sincerity and firmness , sell statistical treatment showed results that the nature of the activities, leisure time importance in the exercise on according to type males or females in activity of religious duties results did not show any differences between males and females in the exercise of this activity while the study revealed that there are differences statistically significant between males and females in other leisure-time activities
