Bacteriological Study of Some Genus of Enterobacteriaceae causes diarrhea in Children

This study included Isolation and identification of Proteus mrabilis , Salmonella Spp and Morganella morganii Causes Diarrhea in (215) samples for patients sufferers symptoms of Diarrhea. Period from 1102014 to 3012015, and used MacConkey agar and blood agar for the cultivation of these samples. The results refer that 65 isolates are belonging to bacteria of Enterobacteriaceae 13 (20 %) Proteus mirabilis and 3(4.6%)Morganella morganii 2(3.1%) Salmonella Spp by using diagnostic phenotypic ,biochemical tests and confirm the diagnosis by using system Vitek2.investigation results of some virulence factors showed isolates of Proteus mirabilis produce of haemolysin (92.3%) ,while Salmonella Spp and Morganella morganii have not ability to produce this enzyme.The results showed that all isolates of Salmonella Spp and Morganella morganii were produced protease by (100%)(50%) while Proteus mirabilis have not ability to produce this enzyme. The results showed Isolates of Proteus mirabilis showed highest resistance rate (76.9%) for Ampicillin while isolates of Salmonella Spp highest resistance rate (100%) for Cephalothin, Cefotaxime and Ampicillin , while isolates of Morganella morganii showed highest resistance rate %100 for Trimethoprime , Ampicillin , Cephalothin , Nalidixic acid , Piperacilli . The results showed Isolates of Proteus mirabilis showed highest tolerate for (CO) metal (0.4)mml and to isolates Morganella morganii (0.5)mml and to isolates Salmonella spp (0.5) mml percentage (100%) for each Isolates. For (Cu) metal Isolates of Proteus mirabilis and Morganella morganii showed highest tolerate to (1)mml percentage (66.66%) and to isolates Salmonella spp showed highest tolerate(0.4) mml percentage (100%) .

The Extended hyperbolic tangent (tanh) method is proposed for building more general exact solutions of the nonlinear evolution equations, Burgers equation and KdV equation. As a result of this, when the equation parameters are taken as special values, we find more general exact solution for traveling wave, which include solitary wave solutions. In this work that the extended tanh method give some new and more general results which are very simple, flexible and faster to compute by general mathematical software, like Maple and Mathematica. The results obtained were compared with tanh method.

This study was carried out on 24 healthy rabbits of both sexes, divided to four age groups 1 day, 15days, 30 days and 90 days to elucidate the normal morphology and histology during four age groups above. Parotid salivary gland observed relatively large and consists of two lobes right, and left separated entirely. The right lobe is oval while the left is irregular, both them were located on both sides of the two ramus of mandible. The color of the parotid gland is creamy pink; there was significant increase in absolute and relative weight as well as the length, width, thickness increase with age, the right lobes are longer, wider and thicker than right lobes in all age groups except at 90 days age. Histologically, the gland is surrounded by capsule send septi divided the parenchyma into lobules which composed of serous ; acinus units ; striated ducts and intercalated ducts. The histological picture of the gland developed with age in the four developed age groups.

In this research the design and construction of dielectric barrier discharge system was done. It consist of two cylindrical electrode made of cupper with diameter (50 mm), the electrode was surrounding by Teflon with thickness (10 mm). The two electrodes were fixed such that one of them can be moved vertically to change the distance between the electrodes. The two electrodes were connected to high power Ac voltage. One of the electrodes was covered by dielectric material; however, we used two kind of dialectic (glass and Teflon) with thickness (1, 2, 3) mm. The electrical characteristic of the system were studied from (I - V) curves by changing gap distance , thickness of dielectric, frequency of the applied voltage kind of the dielectric distance, thickness of the dielectric and the frequency. Also, the breakdown voltage of the system was studied with gap distance and thickness of the dielectric, it is observed that increases the breakdown voltage with increasing gap distance and thickness of the dielectric. It is found that decreasing the discharge current when the Teflon is used as a dielectric sheet instead of glass, while increasing of the breakdown voltage.

The study aim to classify three x-ray lung images depending on the fuzzy c- mean classifier process and on the Q-matrix. The fuzzy c-mean (FCM) is unsupervised process helps to gather the pixel which carry the same features in one or in two classes. The Q-matrix is gray level matrix based on some features which may be used to help the user in identifying the identity of the texture. Also, Gabor texture features has been used to calculate the textural statistical features in this search five cases have been used which are ( Cancer, Echinococcosis, Lymphatic, Pneumonia, Tuberculosis).

The study examined the current analysis of some physicochemical environmental factors represented by electrical connectivity Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Sodium chloride NaCl, Sodium Na, Calcium carbonate CaCO3, Calcium Ca, Magnesium Mg, Chlorine Cl, Nitrite NO2, Nitrates NO3, pH, Sulfate SO4 in order to monitor and track changes in these factors between the water source of the Tigris river and canal water inside the University campus and see their impact in improving these properties. The results showed that most of the factors, such as where he got high on more than one station for the study within the Channel with the exception of sulfates were registered increase , and we believe that most high values due to the neglect of the terms of environmental sanitation in the management and cleaning of the Channel , as well as the impact of the movement of vehicles and Ugbar pavements accumulated in the streets of the University and the impact of construction and earth-moving most of the space in the university during the study period.

A new transition metal complexes of Hg+2, Cd+2 of Schiff bases derived of two drugs "Benzocaine, Isoniazid" were synthesized with molarity ratio (1:2) M:L. The synthesized compounds were characterized by physical and spectroscopic measurements (IR spectrum and proton NMR spectrum, elemental analysis C.H.N, Molar conductivity). The complexes which synthesized by reaction the derived ligand of Benzocaine with metal salts formed tetracoordinate complexes and the derived ligand of Isoniazid with metal salts formed hexacoordinate complexes. The Biological activity were evaluated for synthesized compounds against two types of bacteria E.Coli and S.aureus, most of complexes shown anti-bacterial activity.

Algal Survey in Wastewater Channel of Erbil City, Iraq

The present study describes the algal assemblages at 3 sites within Erbil wastewater channel which extended from southwest of Erbil city with their elongation for more than 50 km effluent discharges into Greater Zab River, with particular reference to abundance, distribution and periodicity were investigated in the samples collected. A total of 56 taxes was identified belongs to 3 divisions, among them 26 taxa were belong of Bacillariophyta, 18 taxa were Cyanophyta and 12 taxa were Chlorophyta. The seasonality of algal assemblage was decreased at 3 sites within Erbil wastewater channel in January and February-2011. The dominate genera among non-diatoms were, Oscillatoria, Merismopedia Chroococcus, Ulothrix, Scendesmus and Spirogyra whereas among the diatoms were Navicula, Syndra, Gomphonema, and Fragilaria, have been studied, in addition to many environmental parameters such as water temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), phosphate, sulfate, nitrate dissolved oxygen and BOD5 were evaluated to explain the effect of these parameters on algal distribution in waste water channel in Erbil city.

In this work , new of 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole- 2-thiol derivatives were synthesized (S1-S19), through the reaction of 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole- 2-thiol with p-hydroxy acetophenone to form azo dyes (S2), Chalcones were synthesized by reaction of compound (S2) with different aromatic aldehyde(S3-S6). Compounds (S7-S17) were finally synthesized by ring closure by hydrazine and some hydrazine derivatives . The newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by FT-IR-spectra and H1-NMR, and they showed good agreement with the proposed structures. Also the biological activity of some of the test compounds were investigated in vitro, against some bacterial.

Cement production (CP) and transportation sector are main sources of increasing CO2 in the atmosphere, which had major responsible for climate changes. These two sectors (CP and transportation) have high percentage of globally CO2 emissions by burn fossil fuel, especially in Iraq, so that this research focuses on this issue. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Changes (IPCC) carried out 2006 guidelines, which include formulas and equations to calculate CO2 emissions and other greenhouse gases. The results shown there are multi fluctuations of CP during study period 1970-2013, which reflected on the CO2 emissions that released from it. The CP has highest value 12000 kilo ton (kt) in 2013. CO2 emissions have the highest value 4680 Giga gram (Gg) in 2013. The percentage of share of CO2 emissions from CP increased from 1 % in 1970 to 4 % in 2013. CO2 emissions due to transportation have grown significantly from 2200 Gg in 1970 to 39000 Gg in 2013, because of increase in the number of different modes of transportation and consumption large quantities of fuel. The percentage of share of CO2 emissions from transportation in Iraq increased from 10 % in 1970 to 30 % in 2013.

The effect of different concentration of crude oil had been examined upon Oscillatoria chlorina, it was depended upon measuring Growth rate as optical density, Chlorophyll, Phycocyanin and Protein concentration as an Physiological activities indicator of crude oil effects on Oscillatoria chlorina, in addition to morphological changes. The growth optical density in the control sample in the day 30 was (0. 43), while it was (0.3) & (0.18) at 0.25% & 0.5% crude oil respectively, and the growth inhibited under effect of concentration of crude oil ≥ 1%. A 40% and 68% of chlorophyll concentration was reduced under the effect of crude oil treatment 0.25% & 0.5% respectively. as well as protein concentration was reduced to 33% and 85% under the effect of 0.25% 0.5% crude oil respectively. Also, the growth, chlorophyll concentration, phycocyanin pigment and protein concentration were totally reduced under influence of crude oil 1%&2%. As well as the absorption spectrum infrared by FTIR show there were absence of methyl group (CH3) at (2920 cm-1) & (2850 cm-1), and this is could be due to the activity of Oscillatoria chlorine and also could be due to its consumed by this species. Morphologically, there were changing in the filament form to be tapering when it grew under the effect of crude oil.

Zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films were prepared by DC- magnetron sputtering technique on glass at different substrates temperature from 350 to 550 oC in 50 oC step. The optical properties of the ZnO films were studied using UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer. The effects of substrate temperature on the absorption coefficient, optical band gap, refractive index, , extinction coefficient, single-oscillator energy, dispersion energy, high- frequency refractive index, high- frequency dielectric constant, moments of the optical spectra , average oscillator strength and average oscillator wavelength of the ZnO thin films were investigated . It was found that, the substrate temperature for these investigated films plays an important rule for changing an optical properties and dispersion parameter results of these films.

Zinc oxide ZnO thin films were prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis technique on glass substrates at (450℃) temperature. The prepared films were annealed at different temperatures (550and600 ℃) in air for 2h to study the effect of annealing on the structural and optical properties of ZnO thin films. As-deposited and annealed films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction patterns indicated that the ZnO films had a polycrystalline wurtzite structure and crystallite size increases with the increase of annealing temperature. The optical properties and dispersion parameters of ZnO films have been studied over a wavelength range(400-900)nm. The optical band gap, refractive index, extinction coefficient, single-oscillator energy, dispersion energy, moments of the optical spectra (M−1) and (M−3), average oscillator strength, average oscillator wavelength, high frequency dielectric constant, the ratio of carrier concentration to the effective mass N/m*, static dielectric constant and static refractive indices of the ZnO thin films were investigated. It was shown that the annealing temperature has significant effect on the properties of ZnO thin films.

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce and study generalization of open sets called Ρβ-open. This class is weaker than the class pθ-open sets and stronger than the class pre-open sets. We studied the relation between these sets with other types of open sets and we gave several characterization about these sets. Also, we defined and investigated class of functions called Ρβ-irresolute and Ρ*β- Irresolute. Several properties and interesting haracterization concerning of these a new types of functions are obtained.

There has been a frightening increase in drug-resistant strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa as a result; there has been a repeated attention in alternative antimicrobial treatments, as bacteriophages. Current study was included isolation and characterization of a lytic phage specific to Pseudomonas aeruginosa (which we designed as PAP referred to a Pseudomonas aeruginosa specific phage) from sewage water of General Baqubah Hospital treatment plant. In this study, a phage PAP was isolated and titrated, using double layer agar technique. and determination of the latent periods and burst size of phage PAP then determines their stability to some of physical and chemical condition (temperature, UV light, Alcohol, chloroform and isopropanol exposure).The results detected a lytic phage in contradiction of an antibiotic-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the stock titer about 8×109 PFU(plaque forming units )/ml. In phage PAP growth cycle, the latent period was 20 min, a burst size was 126 PFU/ infected cell. We found that the phages PAP stable at 4°C and 37°C while they declined quickly after boiling for 10-20 min. unaffected in the presence of chloroform in different concentration, affected by 10% isopropanol, more affected by 70% alcohol.

Investigations were carried out to study the immobilization behavior of cellulase Trichoderma viride on polystyrene an-ion nature of the AM-21-A, and cat-ion exchange fiber VION KN-1.Immobilization of cellulase change the values for Km which were 2.5x10-5 , 4.7x10-5 , 6.8x10-5 for free and immobilized enzyme on VION KN-1, AM-21-A respectively, and Vmax was 75,59,33 g/lmin-1mg- for free and immobilized enzyme on VION KN-1, AM-21-A respectively. The optimum temperature of the activity of the cellulase was affected by immobilization where the enzyme showed maximum activity at 50 ,60 ,70 C˚ for free and immobilized enzyme on VION KN-1, AM-21-A respectively, however, the immobilized cellulase showed a higher thermal stability, with respect to temperature, compared to the free cellulase.

Practically there is no point in leave usage of DOL and R-DOL circuits in stations that include different various types of motors due to its importance to start rotation and reverse direction of specific motors. Nevertheless, curry out of DOL and its reverse on synchronous and induction generally need much more works and efforts and it is not easy to implement in general commercial work stations or remote fields. On contrary, applied of DOL and R-DOL in PLC is proposed way to be applied and identify of its components on this work that regard as peripherals to PLC. Pico PLC will be employing to this purpose. Simplify of programming circuit written codes caused by ladder language and applied by software name's Picosoft version 6 for this project case. Many development countries began using PLC in its industrial field in a jiffy. In this article, there is a providing for simulation, circuit diagram and communication for DOL and R-DOL circuit by PLC and its result on board separately.

In this study, twelve location (6 in Nineveh, 3 in Kirkuk and Tikrit) were chosen to measure the precipitated dust for the years 2011and 2012. The stations were located in residential, commercial, industrial areas. The results showed a variation in the precipitated dust mean within the same year (different results with months) and an increase in 2012 compared to 2011 for Kirkuk and Tikrit by a ratio of 16% and 6.5%, respectively. The precipitated dust analysis in Nineveh showed decreasing of precipitated dust in 2012 compared to 2011 by a ratio of 21%. The precipitated dust in Tikrit was the highest, then Kirkuk and Nineveh in the last order in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, the mean value was 53.39, 37.2 and 16.3 g/m2 respectively; while in 2012 the mean value was 57, 44.4 and 12.8 g/m2, respectively as Tikrit area is widely affected by desertification and dust storms from Iraqi- Syrian border. The results also showed that the average mean of the precipitated dust was Five times more the standard limits of the Iraqi regulation (10 g/m2) which impacts on the human health as the dust particles contain many air pollutants and heavy metals attached to these particles.

The reaction of hexachloro cyclo triphosphazene (A) with 4-aminoantipyrine (B), 4-aminophenyl sulfone (C) and sulfamethoxazole (D) in mole ratio (1:1), in the presence of triethylamine at -80°C as HCl acceptor, provided compounds 1, 2 and 3. The synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H and 31P NMR specroscopic techniques.

The study convers preparation of four amino Ag+ complexes and characterization , in molecular formula: [Ag(SMZ)(NO3)(H2O)].H2O, [Ag(NAM)(NO3)(H2O)], [Ag(SCM)(NO3)(H2O)], [Ag(PAB)2(NO3)(H2O)].2H2O. Where: SMZ=Sulfamethoxazole, NAM=Nicotinamide, SCM= Sulfacetamide and PAB=p-Aminobenzoic acid. All four prepared complexes have been characterized as needed by FT-IR, U.V-Vis, atomic absorption, elemental microanalysis (C.H.N), electrical molar conductivity along with melting point. The study revealed that the expected geometrical formula of the four complexes was tetrahedral.
