تم في هذا البحث دراسة تأثير بعض العوامل الجوية )درجة الحرارة ,الرطوبة باستخدام نوعين من المياه هي الماء المقطر وماء نهر دجلة ( ومدى تأثيرها على انتقال الليزر باستخدام منظومة تتكون من الليزر Nd:YAG بطولين موجيين هما 1064 nm وبطاقة 88.3 mj و 532 nm وبطاقة 40 mj و أيضا تتضمن المنظومة المستعملة للدراسة عدد من الأجهزة من أهمها خلية التوهين التي تم تصميمها في هذه الدراسة ومعرفة مدى تأثير هذه المؤثرات على أشعة الليزر بعد أن يقطع مسافة داخل خلية التوهين مقدارها 2m أن تأثير تغير درجات الحرارة على من الطولين الموجيين لليزر Nd:YAG المستخدم في التجارب يؤدي إلى زيادة النفاذية مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة لكل منهما إلى أن تصل النفاذية إلى حالة شبة مستقرة. استنتج من هذه الدراسة أن النفاذية لهذا الليزر المستخدم تقل مع الارتفاع في قيم الرطوبة النسبية وكذلك نلاحظ تأثير الرطوبة بواسطة ماء النهر تكون اكثر تأثيرا على نفاذية أشعة الليزر من الرطوبة بواسطة الماء المقطر يعزى السبب في هذا الفرق إلى كون ماء النهر يحتوي على العديد من المواد الذائبة.

Through the use of reflected seismic section, which gives a lot of details about the subsurface features and geological structures, it is useful to use this section to explain the subsurface of geological structures of the Rumaila oilfield, which is located southwest of Basra. the interpretation of this section shows strike slip faults, both positive and negative tree (Positive flower structure) and (Negative flower structure) and that the direction of these rifts were found to be in North - South. The presence of these types of faults indicates the horizontal stresses affect the study area, and that these faults cut Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments and their effect reached the Tertiary sediments.

The present study dealt with the anatomical characteristics of 7 species of the genus Salsola L. which belongs to the Chenopodiaceae family, and these species were: Salsola baryosma (Schult.) Dandy; Salsola canesens subsp. Serpeutinicola ; Salsola crassa M.B. ; Salsola jordanicola Elg. ; Salsola pseudonitraria Aellen et Rechf. ; Salsola vermiculata L. ; Salsola volkensii Schwelne. et Aschers; The anatomical characters of the stem and leaves have been studied and connected with the photosynthetic pathways of the studied species. The study cleared that all the species belong to the C4 plants for the presence of Kranz anatomy in their blade; the species leaves were succulent and sessile the blade were un-winged in the cross section; the mesophyll distinguished to a circular palisade layer below the epidermis and a centric spongy layer ; the midrib was undifferentiated ;as well as of the presence of non- glandular hairs on the species ,except the specie Salsola vermiculata L. which had glandular hairs in addition to the non -glandular hairs.

This study was done by using 200 Swiss mice, which had been divided into two main groups, each group contains (40 male + 60 female). The first main group had been treated with cadmium (cd+), while the other with cadmium and vitamin E (Vit E). Each main group had been divided into four subgroups, each one contains (10female + 15male). The first subgroup was regarded as control, which had free metals distilled water, while the three others subgroups were treated with D.W. which contain (10, 50, 100 ppm cd+) respectively. Also, the other main group were divided into four subgroups, the first one as control, while the others were treated with cd+ and Vit E. which were added to the drinking water in concentrations (10 ppm cd+ +50 ppm Vit. E, 50ppm cd+ + 50 ppm Vit. E and 100ppm+ cd+ +50 ppm Vit. E) respectively. After 8 weeks of treatment, half of males had been dissected for study from subgroups, the other half had mated (one male with three female). The study showed a significant weight loss as the concentration of cd+ increased in the first main group, while the results of the second main group that treated with cd+ and Vit. E, showed no loss of weight compared with control group. Also, cd+ )had an obvious effect on weight, number and mortality of fetus in the fourteenth day pregnancy in the first main group, this effect increases of cd+ concentration, while there was no effect of cd+ and Vit.E. Results showed that number and activity of sperms had significant decrease, also results showed that cd+ had a great effect on apportion and causing falling of the seminiferous liquid quality.This study showed that Vit E had an effect to repair all destruction and protect body tissue from cd+ effects. Also, Vit E increase cell capacity to resist the oxidant effect of cd+ this may protect the reproductive system, this has been noticed in the increase weight average, sperm numbers, sperm activity, thus it will increase male fertility that treated with cd+ and Vit E. also in this group there was decrease in fetus mortality compare with the first group.
