ABSTRACT Tow field experiments were conducted, during winter season (2015 – 2016) at agricultural experiments and researsh station (3 km sothern west city centre) of the college of Agriculture – University of Muthanna, to study the contribution of flag leaf, other leaves, parts of spike and tips in production of dry matter and composition of grain yield for wheat crop. The experiment carried out the Split plot using with R.C.B. desgin to three replication. . Results showed the control treatment gave high mean grain yield (2.592 g . plant), biological yield (5.283 g plant). Removing of flag leaf, tip and other leaves treatments led to lower of no. of grains per spike, weight of grain, grain yield, biological yield an d percentage of protein. Shadowing of spike treatment gave decreasing in yield compinents and increasing to percentage of protein. Percentage of the contribution of flag leaf, other leaves, tips and spike (20.11, 13.35, 15.38 and 43.63) % respectively. Resheid cv. gave high means to wet and dry weight, no. of spike per m2, grain yield (1.756 g plant), biological yield (4.157 g plant) and percentage of protein (12.80 %) . The interaction (control treatment X Resheid cv.) gav e high biological yield (6.233 g plant). The interaction (removing of spike treatment X Resheid cv.) gave high percentage of protein (14.56 %) .

Abstract This study was conducted to determine the effect of the use of an aqueous extract of myrtle leaf boiled in some immunological and microbiological traits of broiler chicks. Atotal of 240 chicks, one day old of Ross 308 broiler chickens were randomly distributed into four treatments by 60 chicks per treatment with three replicates (20 chicks per replicate) and reared in the batteries containing the cage dimensions of 1.5 × 1.0 m. The treatments were as follows: 1. The first treatment (control treatment without any addition). 2. The second treatment: Add aqueous extract of myrtle leaf at 100 ml /liter of drinking water. 3. Third treatment: Add aqueous extract of myrtle leaf at 200 ml /liter of drinking water. 4. The fourth treatment: Add aqueous extract of myrtle leaf at 300 ml /liter of drinking water. The results showed the following: 1. A significant increase in (p≤0.05) cellular immunity and volumetric antibodies against Newcastle virus (ELISA) as well as in the relative weight of the fabricia gland and Bursa Index in birds drink water with aqueous extract of myrtle leaves in comparison with control treatment. 2. Treatment caused a significant decrease (p≤0.05) in logarithmic number of aerobic and Coliformis bacteria, with a significant increase (p≤0.05) in logarithmic Lactobacillus bacteria in duodenal of the small intestine.

Abstract This study was conducted to isolate and identify Bacillus subtilis from different rhizosphere soil in Almuthna governorate ( Tomato ,wheat, Corn, Barley, Gumbo, Berseem) and test its efficiency to solubilize phosphate in broth media. Twenty five rhizosphere soil samples were collected subjected to serial dilution and plated on Nutrient agar medium. Microscopical and biochemical characterties were used to diagnosis these bacterial isolates. Results showed that ten isolates were belong in its characterties to B. subtilis ,The results showed also that there ten isolates differ in its ability to solubilize tricalcium phosphate and droping the P it of the medium. Spectro photpmeter was used to quantify the amount of solubilize phosphate in the broth medium at 430 nm . Results showed that isolates which have local number B11 & B6 was superior in its efficiency to solubilize phosphate (.3403,31.9 mg.L-1 ) respectively where as isolates number B22 & B17 gave the lowest amount of solubilized phosphate (20.63 , 23.09 mgP.L-1) respectively . In addatio medium pH drop to 6.5 in medium inoculated with B11 isolate compared with 7.0 in control while reach to 6.54 with B6 isolate with strong relationship with the increasing of solubilized phosphate.

Summary The present study conducted rearing Iraqi artimia Artemia parthenogentica brought from Diala province in laboratory conditions Tap water with a (25 Cᵒ , Ph =7.5) ,at postgraduated fish laboratory, Agriculture College ,University of Baghdad , by using animal Cow manure at concentraturns of 2,4 and 6 grams per liter salty water (85 part per thousand using sawah lake salt ,located in AL-Muthana province. Two initiated stoking densities of artemia were issued (25 and 50 individuals / L. The results showed the best growth rate , mature adult number and survival rates were found in 4 grams Cow manure/L,at density of 25individual/L. A density of 6 adult /L being reared in 4 gram Cow manure /Lfed and artificial diet , Has monthly produced on artemia biomass 1.398 grams /L . Adult wos sexually matured on 12 days at a length of 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm and this phenomenon occurs for the first time in Iraq and survival rate of 89%for 6 grams Cow manure /L.

ABSTRACT A factorial experiment (2 factors) was conducted in field to study effect of inoculant for Paenibacillus polymyxa and Glomus mosseae and carrier materials and their effects in single and dual applications on growth and yield of maize plants (Zea mays L.) class (5018). Randomized Completely Bloke Design (RCBD) was use. the experiment consist of (36) experimental units produced from the interaction between {(4) levels of biofertilizers, coded (F), (3) levels of Carrier materials, coded (C), and the treatments were replicated (3) times}.The inoculant dual treatment (F3) had been the most effective in enhancing plant growth and gave a considerable increase in high plant, dry matter of shoot, weight of 1000 seeds and grain yield of maize. An increased percentage was obtained with (20.62, 19.01, 31.00, 60.88) % respectively, Compared with non-inoculated plants. Carrier materials treatment (C1) gave a significant increases in the growth, yield and its components in high plant, dry matter of vegetable, weight of 1000 seeds and grain yield of maize. The dual interactions treatment (F3+C1) gave better results than the other treatments, by increasing the high plant, dry matter of vegetable, weight of 1000 seeds and grain yield of maize.

Abstract The field experiment carried out in Al-Muthanna University research station was located at Northeastern of Al-Muthanna province (9 km from the city center) during the winterseason 2014 –2015. To study the effect of four levels of nitrogen three rates of seeds in oat (Avena sativa L.), the treatments were arranged in spilt plot depending on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. (Main –plot) was levels of nitrogen (0, 60, 120, 180) kg N. h-1, while (sub-plot) was rates of seeds (100 ,120 ,140) kg h-1. The results showed a significant superiority in the level of fertilizer 180 kg N h-1on the yield traits paniclesm-2 and biological yield (439.0 panicle m-2, 26.73 ton.h-1) respectively, While the 120 kg N h-1 significantly was affected on number of grains/ panicle and seeds yield (73.76 grain/ panicle, 4.732 ton h-1) respectively, there sults showed that rates sowing pointed to superiority the treatment of140 kg seeds h-1andproduced the highest averages ofpaniclesm-2, number of grains/ panicle and biological yield and seeds yield (411.8 panicle m-2, 71.52 grain/ panicle , 4.74 ton. h-1, 27.43 ton. h-1) respectively, While the 120 kg h-1 significantly was affected on 1000 grain (40.07 g), The results of interactions between fertilizer levels and rates sowing significant in all traits.

ABSTRACT The study was achieved during the spring season of 2014 in fields of the guiding farm of Al nejmy village which is located 43 kilometer north east of Al Samawa town in Al Muthanna county . The target of the study was the effect of genetic components and dates of spring planting on the yield , its components and the oil ratio of sunflower . The study included 45 experimental units working on two factors of three genotypes ( Flame , Tarsan 1018 and Gartago ) and five planting dates ( 1February , 15 February ,1March ,15 March , 1 April) . split plot desing was used three replicates . The results with showed supenonig of the genotype Tarsan 1018 in each of number of the seeds in the disk and harvest index at rate of 858.20 seeds and 40.31% . and the superiority of Flame in each of the 100 seed weight, yield plant , the percentage total yield and the oil at rates of 3.96 gram , 34.58 gram ,2.29 ton per hectare and 41.26 %. In planting dates , the second planting date is greater in the seed number in the disc average of 907.40 seeds without significant value than the 1/3date . which was 903.00 seeds. Superiority or the 1/3 date in weight of 100 seeds, yield of plant , total yield , harvest index and oil percentye in average as followed 4.63gram , 42.05gram, 2.79ton per hectare,43.34% and 41.99%.

The dual interactions treatment (F3+ M1) gave better results than the other treatments, by increasing the high plant, dry matter of vegetable, weight of 1000 seeds, grain yield, and N, and P concentration in dry matter of vegetable of maize with

Humic,fulvic acid application and their interaction on availability, N,P,K in soil during the growing season of 2015.Factorial experiment in a RCBD was conducted at the Research Station, , to investigate the effect of biofertilizer, humic, fulvic acid and their interaction on availability of N, P, K in the soil. The experiment treatments were three levels of humic,fulvic acid addit foliar to plant (0 , 2, 4 ml L ha-1) coded it F0,F1,F2 respectively. and three levels of humic, fulvic acid,application to soil (0, 10, 20 L ha-1) coded it S0,S1,S2 respectively. and biofertilizer B0 (without inoculation), B1 (inolculating seed with Bacillus), All experiment units received 240 kg N ha-1 ,80 kg p ha-1 and 120 kg K ha-1 in two doses during the plant growth. Abstract Implemented a field experiment in agricultural second research station affiliated to the Faculty of Agriculture / University of Muthanna, in the village of Al Bandar southwestern province of Muthanna, during the winter season 2015 - 2016 in order to study the effect of different amounts sowing of (oats) Avena sativa L. (0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 ) kg. h -1 with a fixed amount of seed for (Alfalfa) Medicago sativa L. (40 kg. H -1) and four levels of nitrogen fertilization (0,40, 80 and 120) kg. h -1 in the yields green and dry fodder and chemical and qualitative characteristics of Alfalfa and oats, for three stuffed. Applied experience manner split plot design according to the randomized complete sectors (RCBD) and three replicates. The results showed moral superiority third share Recorded when the amount of seed (40 Alfalfa: 160 Oat) kg. E -1 holds the highest averages for green and dry fodder amounted to 80.53 and 17.17 tons. E -1, respectively, as the seed mixture record using the seed mixture (40 Alfalfa: 120 Oats) kg. h -1 higher averages qualitative content of dry nitrogen to feed quotient (1.60%) and phosphorus (0.26%) and total protein (10.04%) and total carbohydrates (28.05%), while the effect of nitrogen fertilization level have won 80 kg. h -1 highest average percentage of potassium (2.51%), while the achieved level of 120 kg. h -1 higher averages of the percentage of phosphorus (0.28%) and the percentage of carbohydrates (30.68%), while the concentration of nitrogen record (1.61%) and the percentage of protein (10.11%), the highest averages when you do not add nitrogen fertilization (control treatmen

A field experiment was conducted in an field experiment of wheat research station that located in the Al-Warka locality northeast of Al-Muthanna province during the autumn season 2014-2015 in order to study the effect of add the agricultural sulfur of different dates and levels in the degree of reaction (pH) and the electrical conductivity (EC) of a soil plant with two cultivars of wheat Triticum aestivum L., a randomized complete block design with a style of split split plot with three replicates. The results showed that the agriculture sulfur addition of the level 2000 Kg S ha-1 was a significant effect in reducing the degree of reaction and increasing the degree of electrical conductivity to the soil planted with a two cultivars of wheat IPA-99 & Abu Ghraip for the stages before planting and at harvest which were sequentially 7.14 and 7.49 for the degree of soil reaction and 3.30 and 2.96 dSm-1 for the degree of electrical conductivity, also the date added in November for the harvest stage given the lowest means for the degree of reaction and higher mean of the electrical conductivity of the soil, which were sequentially 8.02 and 2.67 dSm -1. The added dates in September gave highest mean for the degree of electrical conductivity was 3.06 dSm -1 in the stage before planting, while there was no significant effect on the degree of the electrical conductivity for the three stages. The interaction between the levels add sulfur, added dates, and cultivars a significant effect to reducing the degree of reaction for the stages before planting and at harvest.

Abstract A field experiment was carried out in Rumaitha research affiliate of the national program for the development of the cultivation of wheat in Iraq station during the agricultural season 2014 -2015 m .ltakiam cultivars of wheat planted productivity after harvest livestock .otdment study the cultivation of the crop, livestock in the summer season and that the cultivation of the crop has been the livestock inoculated with three isolates of bacterium Rhizobium leguminosarum and Mash without a vaccine bacterial and in the winter season were planted wheat crop which included two varieties of wheat (22 Research and Rasheed) and planted in six transactions are treated recommendation fertilizer and transactions livestock vaccinated (R1, R2, R3) and the treatment of livestock is vaccinated and treated comparison. Applied experiment using global experience designing complete block randomized RCBD in three replications and two seasons summer and winter. In the summer season outperformed the treatment of livestock vaccinated morally on the treatment of livestock is vaccinated in each of the following qualities of plant height and the number of forest and dry weight of shoot dry weight root of the contract and the number of root ganglia , while in the winter season, Vozart consequences outweigh class Rashid moral in all of the traits (chlorophyll content and flag leaf area and and weight of 1000 grains and holds grain and content of the grain of the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (%). treatment recommendation fertilizer recorded the highest average for most of the qualities including chlorophyll content and flag leaf area at an average of 27.45 Spad and 41.87 cm 2 sequentially, also outperformed the treatment of R2 isolation in most of the qualities of the isolates R1, R3, and the results showed the superiority of inoculated on my paperwork livestock transactions livestock is vaccinated and comparison of all qualities. the results showed no significant overlap among the items and transactions, as given combination (Rashid × recommendation fertilizer) the highest average and most of the traits plant height (cm) and weight of 1000 grains and protein content was (11.7 cm, 45.5 g, 9.6%) sequentially.

University of Muthanna for the period from 07/22/2015 until 22/11/2015 to study the effect of adding aqueous extract of Roselle flowers Hibiscus sabdariffa L. in drinking water on live body weight , carcass weights dressing percentage and carcass cuts (breast , thighs , back, wings, neck). numbers of birds Slaughter from male and female 3 for each , 6 for each transaction . Results showed Significant effects by adding Roselle flowers on live body weight , carcass weight , dressing percentage and primary carcass Cuts ( thighs , breast ) While secondary carcass cuts ( back , wings and neck ) reduce significantly at 4 and weeks of age.

Laboratory studies was carried out at the laboratories of Science and Technology , Ministry of Sc – during 2015 – 2016 to evaluate the Functional responses of the egg parasitoid Trichogramma evanescens on the Angoumois moth , Sitotroga cerealella . Results showed That the T. evanescens follow the second type of a functional response which indicate that the Egg parasitoid negatively dependent on egg density of the Angoumois moth . Attack time and Attack coefficient were , 11.93 and 0.002 . Parasitism rates increased gradually by increasing eggs of the host , then it decreased as eggs density increased . Results also indicated a significant differences in the parasitism rates of T. evanescens on different moth egg ages , parasitism rates were , 65.3 , 51.6 , 33.7 and 29.4 % on host aged of 24 , 48 , 72 and 96 hours respectively . The use of this egg parasitoid in the biological control of the Angoumois moth , S. cerealella also discussed .

ABSTRACT A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of inorganic fertilizer of Agro leaf and Magnesium in some vegetative and chemical growth of Summer Squash ( Cucurbita pepo L . Randomized Complet Block Design was used with three replications . Spraying three concentrations of Agro leaf ( 0, 15 ,30 ) gm L -1 which were ( A1 , A2 , A3 ) respectively , and four concentrations of Magnesium ( 0 ,0.75 ,1.50 and 2.25 )mM which were ( Mg1 , Mg2 , Mg3 , Mg4 ) respectively . Result showed that the suitable Agro leaf – foliar nutrition treated was (30) gm L -1 which caused significant differences in Total chlorophyll 33.84 SPAD , Leaf area 1.16 m 2 , No. of leaves 32.40 leaf plant -1 , K and Mg in leaves 2.91 % and 0.25 respectively , there was no significant differences between (15 and 30 ) gm L -1 in N , P in leaves , % protein and plant yield . The least result in all characteristics in this study was in control treatment . Spraying with magnesium at 2.25 mM significantly increased leaf area 1.32 m2 . Interaction between Agro leaf and Magnesium A3Mg4 was significant in all the chracteristics of this research

Abstract Laboratory studies was conducted at the college of Agriculture Al-Muthana University in 2015 – 2016 to evaluate the effects of the exposure of different stages (eggs….adults) of the Angoumois moth Sitotroga cerealella Oliver to microwave radiation at the powers of of 200 , 400 and 600 watts for 3 different exposure times of 30 , 60 and 90 second respectively . Results showed a significant differences and the superiority of 600 w for 90 s on other treatment . Complete mortalities (100%) of eggs , 1st instar larvae , 4th instar larvae , pupaeand adults were a chived at the powers of 90 w and longest exposure time (90 s) for moth stage respectively . An increased in larval and pupal periods and abnormal development of adults were observed due to exposure to the microwave radiation . The effect of microwave radiation on wheat seeds germination were 93.3 , 81.7 and 65.0% at the power of 200 , 400 and 600 w respectively .
