The Relationship Between Spatial Ability And The Physical Structure

Abstract

The research aims to identify the relationship between spatial ability and the physical structure of concepts to the students of the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences / Ibn al-Haitham، research involved students from the third class / morning study for the year 2011/2012 totaling (98) male and female students ،distributed into three groups which were selected randomly . The number of students (26 males and females) represented research sample after excluding repeaters and absentees، the research included two tests ; one test of spatial ability، which included (20) items and other test the physical structure of concepts، which included (12) items distributed into four domains ، the first (linking between concepts) included (4) items and second (putting concepts on the map) included (3) items and the third (complete the map) included (3) items and the fourth (building the structure of the map) included (2) items ، were built on according to the approved controls and after applied to a sample of the research and using appropriate statistical methods show that the level of spatial ability of students high and statistically significant، while the level of the physical structure of concepts acceptable and non-statistically significant also show that the relationship is negative and very weak between the variables of the research.

Abstract

During the last decades the world witnessed rapid changes and events in most of the countries which led to the absence of patriotic voice. The current study aims at identifying the concept of citizenship in the Educational Islamic Thought. The researcher adopted a descriptive methodology in which he surveyed the concept of citizenship across different cultures in general, and particularly in Educational Islamic Thought. In the light of the results achieved in this study, a set of conclusions, suggestion and recommendations emerged.

Abstract

The study aims to link the measure the students with special needs (physically disabled only) the students of sixth grade and ordinary peers and measuring the self's ability to defy the pressures of life with students with special needs students in sixth grade and ordinary peers and learn about the relationship between the membership and the ability of self-challenge stress among students with special needs and to identify the relationship between the membership and the ability of the self to defy the pressures of life among ordinary students . research sample of 46 pupils with special needs and 60 pupils from ordinary Done adoption of the resolution as a tool to collect data for each variable of variables, the most important results of the search results that the sample of students with special needs to have a level of affiliation is high and a high level of self's ability to defy the pressures of life. the results also showed that ordinary students have a level a high level of affiliation and a high level of self's ability to defy the pressures of life, and the results showed that there are no differences between males and females, whether they are ordinary or students with special needs to belong or in the self's ability to defy the pressures of life. While there have been differences in membership and in the self's ability to defy the pressures of life among the students in accordance with the existence of a disability or not, and the differences for the benefit of ordinary students and in the light of these findings the researchers made some recommendations and proposals.

Abstract

The research on the history of residential squatters in the city of Baghdad (1921-1958) dealt with a number of historical facts and incidents with a social and demographic dimension that passed through the city of Baghdad during the period of the royal era, especially agricultural migration from the countryside to the city resulting in social and economic problems. Especially for the establishment and construction of residential slums in and around the outskirts of Baghdad. The first axis came as an input to take a brief history of the urban development of Baghdad. The second axis included the neighborhoods and slums of the residential communities in Baghdad, 1921-1958.

Abstract

The Aim of this research is to know the effect of Finks model in lateral thinking and the grades of first year students in the Department of Computer Science / morning study. To achieve the goal of research the researcher adopted the research method with two groups (experimental and regular control) with a dimension test. 1-There is no statistically significant difference in the significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of first-year students in computer department (experimental group) who have studied according to Finks model and Among the students who have learned the same material in the usual way (control group) in the test of lateral thinking. 2- There is no statistically significant difference in the significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of first-year students in computer department (experimental group) who have studied according to Finks model and Among the students who have learned the same material in the usual way (control group) in the examination grade test. the research community, was determined and was represented by the first stage students in the Department of Computer Science The research sample was chosen from (50) students chosen randomly, the sample was divided into two groups: - An experimental group studied according to Finks model. - A control group studied according to the usual or regular way The parity was conducted between the two groups in the variables procedure (former grades in mathematics, the level of intelligence, lateral thinking, and chronological age). For collecting data for the experiment an objective of (9) paragraphs lateral thinking test was built, in addition to an (8) paragraph essay type examination grade test. An appropriate statistical analyzes was conducted, psychometric characteristics of the test has been confirmed, The results indicated superiority of the experimental group students who have studied in accordance with the Fink model on the control group students who have studied in accordance with the normal way.

Abstract

The mental mindfulness plays an important role in enhancing attention characterizing with flexibility when person making new categories. The mental mindfulness has its effectiveness on learning and evocative thin king and decision maker who has a motive and goal and along experience in field of life will be characterized with mental mindfulness because he will achieving his goals with easy by his mental mindfulness. This present study aims to recognize mental mindfulness concept among university learners, decision making concept among them, statistical significant differences according to gender variable and the power and the attitude of correlation between mental mindfulness and decision making among university students. The sample consisting of (300) students, (150) from Arabic department and (150) from English deportment who were selected randomly and the researcher concludes to the following results: 1-The sample- according to the comparison between enthmelic mean and hypothetical one –(Arabic and English deportments) characterizing with mental mindfulness at (0,05) signifying level 2- The sample- according to the comparison between esthetic mean and hypothetical one- characterizing with decision making process at (0,05) significant level. 3-There are statistical significant differences in the tool of mental mindfulness according to department (Arabic and English) for the benefit of females in history dept.at (0,05)significant level. 4-Therte are no statistical significant differences in the tool of decision making according to department variable (Arabic and English) at (0,05)significant level. 5-There is a correlation between mental mindfulness and decision making among the university students which was (0,211)at (0,05) significant level the researcher reaches to number of suggestion and conclusions with statistical significant.

Abstract

The study aimed to know the Cultural intelligence of educational counselors. The researcher used a descriptive approach using the cultural intelligence scale's (Livermore, 2010). The study sample consisted of (300) educational counselors. Results showed that the average cultural intelligence of counselors is higher than the theoretical average. The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the counselors in the level of cultural intelligence because of gender differences or length of service.

Abstract

The current research aims at evaluating the Book of curriculums and Genera- Teaching Methods according to the view of male and female teachers in the Fine Art Institute. The sample of the research includes all male and female teachers for the academic year 2015-2016 in the general directorate of Education/ Karkh/1 / morning study. The society of research amounted 30 teachers for the subject of general teaching methods. The researcher has used a tool for exposing the research ; she has prepared and developed it in form of questionnaire concerning with male and female teachers ; it includes 57 items concerning with the rectification of the general teaching methods of second- stage students of Fine Arts . The items have included the fields ( introduction, goals , content , activities and methods of teaching , questions ( end of every chapter) and the artistic form of the book). In respect to exposing the results, it has been considered percentage weight after responding inquiries of teachers for every item. Results of the research are as follows: 1. The content of the book is exposed in form of chapters where scientific accuracy prevails ; it includes diverse activities that help the students boost their understanding toward the subject. 2. Means and activities have not given an opportunity of participation of all students. The researcher has concluded with a set of recommendations listed below : 1- Increasing the number of decided subjects, where it should be three times a week instead of twice. 2- Timing Book of General –Teaching Methods with the modern scientific developments as to satisfy the goals of the subject. Most important suggestions are listed below: 1- Doing a study similar to the current study, concerning with the principles of educational research that being studied in the fourth stage in the Fine Art institute. 2- Doing a study aiming at rectifying the subject of Teaching Methods in the light of the contemporary matters.

Abstract

The current study aims to investigate the extent that the university youths' search for the local accents in the social medias and to know the reasons and motivations behind it. This is achieved by determining the local accents' importance, along with its roots and trying to specify the size of its employment in the social medias. Abstract

The research aims to reveal the effectiveness of equivalent strategy in the achievement of the chemistry material and emotional intelligence for students’ fifth grade. The sample of the research consists of (28) students from fifth grade science bio in junior high thankful for Boys, of the Directorate of Education BAGHDAD - Al-Karkh II. The Students are divided between two divisions evenly, Division of (a) a control group which studied according to ordinary method, and the Division (b) It is the experimental group which studied according to the same strategy. Use tests Mann - Whitney (j) of the two independent samples equal to analyze the data. Search results have shown statistically significant differences between the two groups in the academic achievement of chemistry and emotional intelligence differences, and in favor of the experimental group that studied according to the same strategy.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the job’s satisfaction among teachers Basic Education College. And the reasons behind the differences in job satisfaction according to the type variable. The present study examines the health behavior according to the type of a variable. The sample of the study includes the professors of Faculty of Basic Education Mustansiriya University from both genders, for the academic year (2014 -2015). The numbers of respondents are reached (200). The researcher has built a career satisfaction and scales health behavior which are extracted for two statistical properties. The results are shown that the differences between males and females in job satisfaction and in favor of males. The Basic Education Teachers College follows a healthier behavior in their lives. In addition to that there are no differences between males and females to pursue healthy behavior. There is a presence of significant correlation between the scores of the sample on the job satisfaction scale and grades on a scale health behavior. The Results of the research reflect a number of recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract

Modern technology, including educational bags has a role in increasing the efficiency of teaching and learning through various levels of students' skills and reflects a new idea that is set in easy way. The study aims to ((prepare educational material handicraft in the art of crochet bag, as well as identify the impact of the instruction in the development of the bag for second grade students’ average skills. And the researcher to build an educational portfolio in the material handicrafts to teach students the art of crochet through the booklet educational steps, as well as disc CD where everything related to the art of crochet steps as well, and formed the research sample of 48 female students and the use of the test Altaia (t) researcher found that there are very effective in teaching the students the art of crochet.

Abstract

The goal of the current research is to identify the Self-Concept for children according to the age of (5, 6, and 7 years). These variable1 can be shown as follow: A - Age (5, 6, and 7) years . B - Gender (male - female) The present study shows that there is no statistically significant differences between the averages of the age of children (5, 6, and 7) years in self-concept, and sex variable (male - female) .The research sample consists of (230) boys and girls, they have been selected by class style randomly from kindergarten and elementary schools affiliated to Al Rusafa in the province of Baghdad. For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the research ,the researchers formulaes a suitable instrument for the research sample, so the researcher uses a tool to measure the evolution of self-concept in children aged (5, 6 and 7) years, it was rely on the theory of Carl Rogers and some previous studies on this concept, which was to reach for five dimensions to measure self-concept that includes ( Physical-self dimension, mental-self dimension, social-self dimension, emotional-self dimension, moral-self dimension) . This tool consists of (42) paragraph, that reflects the truth of virtual scale, discrimination paragraphs, in addition it is distinguishing the relationship between the paragraph degree with the total degree of the standard, and the link of the paragraph degree with the area degree, and it has been verified the stability of the standard by re-testing it, which was (0.75), and coefficient of Alvacrobach, in order to calculate the stability of (internal consistency) for the standard which was (0.84), which makes the standard ready for the final application.

Abstract

It is worth mentioning that the disintegration of Iraqi family due to poverty and losses of lives due to wars, violence and persecution Iraq has undergone led to several cases of child deprived of one of the parents or both that led many families to put their children in adolescents care houses or orphanage, a responsibility that used to be taken care by relatives in the past. The study population comprises 23 orphan adolescents (8 females and 15 males) who live in an adolescents care house in Sulaymaniyah. The main results as shown in table 12 is that there are a significant difference at 0.01 level in total scores of adjustment among groups where the F value was 5.48 to differentiate significance among means then calculate the absolute value of difference among means which showed the following: a) the are significant differences at 0.05 level between mean scores of adolescents group in care house and those of adolescents in educational aspect. B) Between mean scores of adolescents there are significant difference between adolescents who receive no care and the mean scores of adolescents who receive no care. c) There are significant differences between mean scores of adolescents who receive no care and the mean scores of adolescence who receive care at care house which are in favor of adolescents who receive no care compared to those who are under care house institution. The differences among care house group mean scores were not significant. d) It is obvious that there are differences in the self-concept among adolescents under different care types, in favor of orphans who live under the care of extended family and receive a special program compared to adolescents under care house. e) The study showed that a child needs siblings who develop with him and share family life, each member of the family has his own role in participating in his personality development and growth and un preparing him for integration and interaction with society.

Abstract

The study tries to establish standard in artistic sense which helping the Musicians (teachers) to give admission for the applicant students in the Institutes of Fine Arts In Iraq. The study aims at: 1- Establishing, as mentioned above, standard in artistic sense for the Admission of musical arts students in Iraq. 2- Applying the proposed standard on the first stages students of Musical Arts Departments in Iraq. More specifically, the study is restricted on the first stages in musical arts Departments and their teachers in Rusafa and Karkh Fine Arts Institutes, Respectively evening and morning studies in Baghdad. The standard samples are implemented on the teaching staffs whom Have been intentionally chosen from the College of Fine Arts- University of Baghdad and Fine Arts Institute in Al_karkh. Whereas the practical Appliance was the questionnaire for collecting the data. The questionnaire Includes (25) items, including (9) for skills field, (10) for scientific, and (6) for cultural ones. The researcher uses the statistical methods to get the results. The StudyAlso reveals many other results and conclusions, and accordingly the Researcher gives his recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract

Education occupies a prominent place in the modern communities. It represents the foundation of the last generations of educated and fixed in science, technology. Literature and the ants contribute to building a society conferring to the construction of human civilization formed. Currently, the achievements in scientific progress and the holding of schools and scientific and cultural edifices since the school is the most important part of the education and scientific phase. The study reveals that there is a significant difference between female managers’ and their response on scale strategic planning relationship. The research adopts the descriptive approach since it is suitable for providing facts and date about the providing facts and date about the problem under discussion and to explain and identify its implications. Also the research use the questionnaire as a research method- spss is used. To achieve its aims, the following statistical methods are used: The percentage of external truth has a correlation with coefficient person. Finally, the finding of the research is shown that the schools heads’ in Baghdad have the ability to understanding accurately the strategic planning.

Abstract

This research aims at evaluating the teaching methods used by teachers of history in the intermediate stage. To achieve the objective of the research, the researcher followed the descriptive research method, and identified the research group of teachers and teachers of history in the intermediate stage in the General Directorate of Education Rusafa / first. For the academic year (2016-2017). (595) teachers and schools. The basic research sample was randomly selected from the research community, reaching (200) teachers and schools, (100) teachers and (100) schools. The researcher then prepared the necessary orthodontic standards for the teaching methods of (5) criteria only (achievement of objectives, choice of teaching method, diversification in teaching methods, stimulation of learners, development of thinking patterns). The scale shall be in its final form of (25) paragraphs. Each of these paragraphs has three gradual alternatives (highly practiced, moderately practiced, poorly exercised). , And the authenticity of the virtual content index was verified. The researcher used the following statistical methods (weighted mean, percentage weight). In order to complete the benefit, the research tool identified in this research will be used to evaluate the teaching methods used by teachers of history in the intermediate stage and to provide the teachers of history in the intermediate stage with the list of the research tool to evaluate the teaching methods identified in this study for the purpose of benefiting from them In evaluating their own performance.

Abstract

This research includes a fundamental study of the evidence of the freedom of the child in the Qur'an and what is correct in the Sunnah, by stating the fundamental rules that apply to this evidence, all in two axes: Thinking and expression. The second: play . The research was divided into three section: The first is to identify the Vocabulary of the title and the relevant terms Second: Fundamental rules relating to the freedom of the child to think and express Third: Fundamental rules relating to the freedom of the child to play The Fundamental rules relating to the freedom of the child to think and express in this research were nineteen bases, and that relating to the freedom of the child to play were fifteen bases. All of which prove that Islam and its legislation have brought compassion, respect and appreciation to every human being, especially the child, and called for respecting the freedom and rights of the child, and urged this in various ways, unlike those who claim to have practiced Arbitrariness and Narrowing of children . We concluded the research by mentioning the results we reached through this study. O God Make this work an argument for us on the day we meet you, and do not make it an argument on us . Abstract

The research consists of two parts and conclusion which mentions the results, The first part explination of research which deols with the problem of the research and its importance. 1- The subject of the research according to the researcher didn’t present previously, with the great importance of the subject. 2- The importance of definition of the criterion of human rational at prophet Mohamed (s.a.a.s) as an introduction to practice and converted as reality. The researcher mentioned that allah warship by the mind, and the believer be aware when ten qualities he should have: The goodness is prospective form him. The evil is safe form him. In creasing the li hle of goodness form other. Reduced the goodness form himself. He doesn't tired from science. He doesn't tired set upset from The demand . Humiliation is hear to him form glory. Poverity is hear to him form the rich. His shave form life is the food. He doesn't sew any one unless he says this one (human) is bether form me.The target of the research is the criterion of human rational at the prophe Mohamed: 1) The reaearch depends on the analytic method inorder to improve the research target. 2) The second part of the study deals with the improve the reality of prophetic talks inorder to explain the criterion of human rational at the prophet Mohamed.
