Abstract

Conducting polymer blends (PAni/PMMA) has been prepeared by chemicalpolymerization method. Thin films of these blends were prepared by casting methodwith different ratios of PAni. The weight ratios of PAni were 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%,50%, and 60%. The blends were doped in sulfuric acid with different concentrations.The optical properties were studied for each ratio of mixture. The optical analysesindicated that the transition was indirect transition. All these results were discussed

حضرة الخلاط الوليمرية الموصلة(بولي أنلين/بولي ميثايل مثل أكر ليك) بخلط البوليأنلين مع البولي مثيل أكر ليك بطريقة البلمرة الكيميائية.أغشية رقيقة من هذه الخلائط حضرة بطريقة الصب50 %,و 60 %. .كل ,%40,%30,%20,% بنسب مختلفة من البولي أنلين.النسب الوزنبة للبولي أنلين هي 10نسبة وزنية من هذه الخرائط شويت بتراكيز مختلفة من حامض الكبريتيك . درست الخواص الضوئية لكلنسبة من الخلائط.تحليل النتائج الانتقالات الضوئية تشير الى الانتقالات غير المباشرة.ونقشت كل النتائج.

Abstract

Thin films of crystal violet were prepared using dipping method. The optical properties have been investigated in the spectral rang (300-800 nm) . The analysis of the spectral behavior of the absorption coefficient α indicate that the fundamental absorption edge arises due to an allowed indirect transition at 1.55 eV assisting phonon of 0.13 eV is also observed

Abstract

Thin multilayer graded semiconducting, inorganic, metallic oxides films have wide applications such as optical designs and microelectronics industry. Knowledge of the refractive indices nf(λ) and of such films their dispersion are important. This paper is aimed to present an overview on the different methods that have been devised for the determination of the index of refraction of thin films along with their theoretical basis. Such methods are Abeles, Swanepoel, Kramers-Kronig, Ellipsometer, and others. Some experimental results are also presented. The accuracy of these methods is evaluated.

Abstract

In this work, ZnO thin films were prepared using spray paralysis technique at different molarities of aqueous zinc chloride solution. This study focused on the effect of morality on the optical and electrical properties, therefore, many samples were produced to explore and determine the optimum characteristics of the prepared samples. These properties include the optical properties such as transmittance, bandgap energy, skin depth, carrier concentration, photoconductivity, absorption edge shift, optical constants such as absorption coefficient and extinction coefficient, and electrical properties such as I-V characteristics, electrical conductivity and resistivity under dark or illumination conditions.

Abstract

Thin films of CuxS have been deposited in an aqueous solution of copper chloride, tri ethanol amine, aqueous ammonia and thiourea. The effect of deposition time, solution pH and thiourea amount on films thickness, growth rate, optical and electrical properties has been studied. The film thickness increases with increasing deposition time and thiourea volume, whereas it decreases with increasing the solution pH. The corresponding small modifications of optical properties can be explained by the increase in roughness with film thickness. Electrical resistivity is strongly influenced by the solution pH and by the thiourea amount but depends to a much less extent on the film thickness.
