Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of using some E-learning methods to teach selected topics from the computer book on the achievement of students of the Faculty of Physical Education. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed electronic learning software to teach selected subjects from computer book to students of Physical Education Faculty. (50) students from the Faculty of Physical Education, the first stage in the University of Samarra, were divided into two groups, one experimental (25) students studied selected topics from the computer book (25) students studied the same subjects from the computer book in the usual and traditional methods, and in light of the general objectives and procedural, and the educational content of the educational program, the researcher built a test of achievement consists of (40) paragraph of the multiple choice questions and the questions of health and errors. The test was applied perceptively and periodically to the research sample. The research was conducted during the second semester of the academic year (2014-2015). The validity of the research hypotheses was verified by analyzing the data using (T-test) of the two independent groups (control group and experimental group). The research concludes the following main results:- There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) between the average score of the control group students (studied in the usual and traditional methods) and the mean scores of the experimental group (studied using some E-learning methods).- The researcher concludes the research with a number of recommendations and proposals.

Abstract

Baghdad wants to remember its beautiful history when it was the capital of knowledge and wisdom and aiming to be an e-learning city in 2022. Iraqi society, despite all the conditions digitally are growing up and continuing their movement towards building knowledge society without any noticed influence from the government. Iraq as a country ranked in the 155 position between the world countries according to the United Nations e-government survey 2018, and also according to the ITE statistical reports 95% of the Iraqi people have cell phones (82% according to the World Bank reports) and more than 70% of these cell phones are smart phones. With 19% internet using growing up percentage between Iraqi population. Such numbers gives us the indication that Iraqi society can be an electronic society. Iraq as a country suffers from many problems and also the universities suffer from the lack of the up to date educational technologies adoption in its learning activities. Blended Learning is the key and the solution. An eLearning Platform was designed according to the Iraqi universities needs and problems. It contains more than 24 web designed e-learning applications towards blended learning adoption and a real electronic universities. The platform was named as Baghdad e-learning platform and tested in for more than three academic years in Iraq and it was designed according the e-education orbital framework which covers the sustainability issues that is required for the future of education in all of the world and it is the main target of the United Nation Development sustainable goals 2030. As a result, it was the first time and trial by any Iraqi higher education institution to adopt blended learning and social learning tools in its daily learning activities. In addition, the designed platform made a huge impact on its limited using but it is planned to expand its using in three universities in the next academic year in Iraq. The Edmodo Company has certified the Informatics Institute of postgraduate studies as a real learning society. Three different MOOC system applications were also designed and executed in the platform with a total number of students of 1400.

Abstract

The goal of current research to identify the role of community participation in the activation of self-learning for students of middle school in Iraq and study sample consisted of 30 students from the middle school in Babil province of Iraq was designed researcher questionnaire was distributed to the students after they were presented to the faculty of specialists in the Ministry of Education until gaining the final version was distributed to students. Data were analyzed using statistical methods such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the weighted average relative weight is the most important findings of the research are:1. Through community participation is self-learning effective and suitable for middle school students2. Self-learning is better than traditional learning in solving the problems of education, such as underachievement.The study also showed that there are several factors were the cause of the delay in students' curriculum, including: -1. Triple always a problem in those schools which leads to narrow the time of the student and the teacher in providing course material well-presentation2. Weakness possibilities of teaching in these schools because of the limited time available .

هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف التعلم الذاتي لطلبة المرحلة الإعدادية في العراق وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) طالب وطالبة من المرحلة الإعدادية في محافظة بابل بالعراق وقد صمم الباحث استبيان وزع على الطلبة بعد إن تم عرضه على الأساتذة من ذوي الاختصاص في وزارة التربية حتى يكتسب الصيغة النهائية وتم توزيعه على الطلبة وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام الوسائل الإحصائية مثل المتوسط الحسابي والانحراف المعياري والوسط المرجح والوزن النسبي ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث هي : 1-زيادة عدد المدارس التي تعاني من تأخير دراسي للأعداد كثيرة من الطلبة فيها وعدم تفعيل التعلم الذاتي.2-الاعتماد على إحصائيات مديرية تربية بابل بالعراق للطلبة المتأخرين دراسياً من أجل تعليمهم كيفية استخدام التعلم الذاتي أثناء الدوام وفي العطل المدرسية .إما أهم التوصيات كانت .1 _تفعيل دور التعلم الذاتي في المرحلة الاعدادية بالعراق2_ دور التعلم الذاتي في معالجة التاخر الدراسي بالمدارس الابتدائية بالعراق .

Abstract

The researcher focuses on cooperative learning in English foreign language ( EFL) classroom. One of the difficulties in the cooperative learning is that there is no exact definition for it .So, the term is viewed as a structure of interaction designed to facilitate the accomplishment of a specific and product or goal through people working together in group.Cooperative learning can be effective and also successful inside the classroom , but it always comes with problems . for example the teacher have a real problem in giving each student in the group his final mark , and putting in a consideration that the students may have not the right contribution and in equal way in the group.

يركز الباحث على التعلم التعاوني في الفصول الدراسية للغة الإنكليزية كلغة أجنبية ومن إحدى الصعوبات في التعلم التعاوني هي أنه لا يوجد أي تعريف دقيق لذلك. لذا، يعتبر المصطلح تركيب لتفاعل الطلاب والذي يهدف إلى تسهيل إنجازات محددة ومنتجة أو الهدف من خلال أشخاص يعملون معا في مجموعة.التعلم التعاوني يمكن أن يكون فعال وناجح أيضا داخل الفصول الدراسية، ولكن دائماً يأتي مع المشاكل. على سبيل المثال يكون لدى المعلم مشكلة حقيقية في إعطاء كل طالب في المجموعة علامته النهائية، ووضع في عين الاعتبار أن الطلاب قد لا تساهم بطريقة متساوية في المجموعة.

Abstract

The current study involves a teaching strategy that enhances students’ motivation by promoting teamwork as well as the development of kinesthetic and visual learning styles. This strategy is applied on high school students at the age of seventeen. It is divided into two parts. The first part involves a presentation of what an adjective is and related matters such as positions, forms and types of adjectives in English. The second part is the actual application of the teaching strategy where students apply what they have learnt from the presentation and they start creating materials such as flash cards to contextualize their learning in a meaningful way through the strategy described in this paper. A rubric is used to grade the performance of students during their oral production. This instrument is classified in four levels of performance, namely: needs improvement, satisfactory, good and excellent. The reason why a rubric is used is that the activity promotes the achievement of competencies that cannot be graded by numbers only as they involve attitude, abilities, knowledge and values. It is concluded that students have to use their background knowledge to come up with ideas of what the adjective category is, what the pronunciation of it is and an example where they can use it in a spontaneous way. Moreover, this activity can be adapted to teach a whole range of lexical phrases, collocations and patterns as well as language forms. Also, it is enjoyable and meaningful for students in the sense that students have the chance to move around the classroom, use their body parts, make noise, laugh and above all learn. Abstract

Robust and accurate indoor localization has been the goal of several research efforts over the past decade. In the building where the GPS is not available, this project can be utilized. Indoor localization based on image matching techniques related to deep learning was achieved in a hard environment. So, if it wanted to raise the precision of indoor classification, the number of image dataset of the indoor environment should be as large as possible to satisfy and cover the underlying area. In this work, a smartphone camera is used to build the image-based dataset of the investigated building. In addition, captured images in real time are taken to be processed with the proposed model as a test set. The proposed indoor localization includes two phases the first one is the offline learning phase and the second phase is the online processing phase. In the offline learning phase, here we propose a convolutional neural network (CNN) model that sequences the features of image data from some classis's dataset composed with a smartphone camera. In the online processing phase, an image is taken by the camera of a smartphone in real–time to be tested by the proposed model. The obtained results of the prediction can appoint the expected indoor location. The proposed system has been tested over various experiments and the obtained experimental results show that the accuracy of the prediction is almost 98.0%.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the research was to identify the effect of learning patterns overlap in the type of feedback on performance and outcome in acquiring the skills of handling and scoring for beginners in football. The researchers used the experimental approach to the problem of the research. The sample consisted of (40) beginners in the football school in Diyala governorate at the age of 13 years. They were randomly divided into two experimental groups. Each group consisted of (20) Performance reviews and the second is the result.After the main experiment and tests were completed, the SPSS program was used for statistical data processing to reach the results. The researchers found the most important conclusion is that the use of learning patterns by combining the two types of performance feedback and result in the impact on the acquisition of skills of handling and scoring for beginners football.The researchers recommended that the use of learning patterns in both performance and outcome feedback be increased in learning the skills of handling and scoring for beginners.

ملخص البحث هدف البحث الى التعرف على تأثير تداخل انماط التعلم بنوع التغذية الراجعة الخاصة بالأداء والنتيجة في اكتساب مهارتي المناولة والتهديف للمبتدئين بكرة القدم. واستخدم الباحثون المنهج التجريبي لملامته مشكلة البحث ، واشتملت عينة البحث على (40)لاعبا من المبتدئين في المدرسة الكروية في محافظة ديالى بعمر(13) سنة تم تقسيمهم بالطريقة العشوائية إلى مجموعتين تجريبيتين كل مجموعة تحتوي على(20) لاعبا تكون المجموعة الاولى خاصة بنوع التغذية الراجعة الخاصة بالأداء والثانية خاصة بالنتيجة .وبعد الانتهاء من التجربة الرئيسية والاختبارات تم استخدام برنامج SPSS )) لمعالجات البيانات احصائيا للوصول إلى النتائج . وقد توصل الباحثون إلى أهم الاستنتاجات وهي أن لاستخدام انماط التعلم بتداخل نوعي التغذية الراجعة الخاصة بالأداء والنتيجة تأثير في اكتساب مهارتي المناولة والتهديف للمبتدئين بكرة القدم. وقد اوصى الباحثون الى زيادة حجم استخدام انماط التعلم بنوعي التغذية الراجعة الخاصة بالأداء والنتيجة في تعلم مهارتي المناولة والتهديف للمبتدئين بكرة القدم.

Abstract

E-learning seeks to create an interactive learning environment between the teacher and the learner through electronic media conveying in more than one direction, regardless of how the environment and its variables are identified. It also develops skills necessary to deal with technology in order to be able to take into account the individual differences between them and helps e-learning teacher and learner to achieve the goals set in advance and identify educational objectives in a clear manner. The research aims to identify e-learning in its benefits and management systems. It has three sections dealt with in the current research. Chapter II concentrates on the research Methodology, which consisted of three sections: The first sections: What is e-learning, its benefits, types, constraints and disadvantages, The second section: the aspects of difference between e-learning and traditional education, and the most important equipment. For the third section, it addressed the e-learning and the management systems. Chapter III presents conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions, which can be summarized as follows: E-learning is directly dependent on the use of ICTs, which means that teacher and learner must be familiar with these techniques for the success of the educational process. E-learning provides a great opportunity for many groups in the society, especially those groups missed opportunities for education regardless of the reasons, whether economic or social. For Recommendations: The need to encourage school administrations to adopt this type of education and encourage teachers to use it. The need to set up training courses for teachers to clarify the importance of e-learning, ICT and qualify them to deal with this technology.

Abstract

E-learning is the use of computers to create and deliver educational materials to customers, prospects, employees, and students. With the rapid development of web technologies, applications, and the decentralized of e-learning resources; with its relation to the use of web resources. For all this, there should be tools resource management.In this paper, an optimized framework would be presented for resource allocation in e-learning environment, called Resource Allocation E-learning (RA e-learning) framework the proposed frame work based on meta-heuristic algorithm on Fog computing environment.

التعليم الالكتروني يمثل عملية استخدام الحاسوب لانشاء واستلام ادوات تعليمية للزبائن والموظفين والطلبة. وان عدم جعل مصادر التعليم الالكتروني متمركزة في موقع واحد محدد سوف يرفع من كفاءة انظمة التعليم الالكتروني.في هذا المبحث ، تم اقتراح نموذج محسن لتخصيص المصادر في بيئة التعليم الالكتروني بالاعتماد على صفات خوارزميات التحسين وبيئة عمل الحواسيب المضببة.

Abstract

The huge amount of documents in the internet led to the rapid need of text classification(TC). TC is used to organize these text documents. In this research paper, a new model isbased on Extreme Machine learning (EML) is used. The proposed model consists of manyphases including: preprocessing, feature extraction, Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) andELM. The basic idea of the proposed model is built upon the calculation of feature weights byusing MLR. These feature weights with the extracted features introduced as an input to theELM that produced weighted Extreme Learning Machine (WELM). The results showed agreat competence of the proposed WELM compared to the ELM.
