Abstract

Modified Statistical Iterative Technique has been adapted to reconstruct satellite images. The adopted technique removes some of the assumptions used in the derivation of the Wiener filtering solution. Most obviously, the iterative approach we develop will require no assumptions about the underlying image generation process. The adapted filter was designed for reconstructing satellite images that are blurred with space-invariant blurring function corrupted with additive noise. Different degradation parameters, i.e. different width of blurring function and different signal to noise ratio were considered. The results using an adaptive technique were compared, quantitatively, using mean square error (MSE). Results shows that this method has better performance for reconstructing the degraded satellite images.

Abstract

In our work present, the application of strong-Lensing observations for some gravitational lenses have been adopted to study the geometry of the universe and to explain the physics and the size of the quasars. The first procedure was to study the geometrical of the Lensing system to determine the relation between the redshift of the gravitational observations with its distances. The second procedure was to compare between the angular diameter distances "DA" calculated from the Euclidean case with that from the Freedman models, then evaluating the diameter of the system lens. The results concluded that the phenomena are restricted to the ratio of distance between lens and source with the diameter of the lens noticing.

Abstract

A computational investigation has been adopted for designing an optical system for infrared homing head, operated in the region (3-5) µm. The design stage depends originally, on a standard optical system for IR homing head. These improvements include choosing the most suitable materials and features for each optical element in the developed design. An improvement stage was then followed for the correcting the radius of curvature of the correcting lens, which has process have been carried out using Zemax software to determining the most favorable optical properties i.e. spherical aberration, size of spot, and size and shape of the system. The results show that the best optical system was obtained when the dome and correcting lens are made of Sapphire material.

Abstract

One of many applications of Lasers is the beam profile. For some Lasers and applications this may only be necessary during the design and fabrication phase of the Laser. The aim of the research is to design and construct a Laser beam profile based on CCD camera. The system have been constructed on analyzing in the near infrared (NIR) Laser beams as the CCD silicon chip can be exploited in this region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The results show the successfulness of the profile in displaying proper Laser images. Also, care must be taken to avoid over exposing the CCD camera. Finally, stability of the imaging system is of great important.

تم في هذا البحث تصميم وبناء منظومة تشخيص وتحليل حزمة ليزرية والتي تتالف بشكل رئيسي من كاميرة CCD وكارت إلكتروني للتعشيق بين الكاميرة والحاسبة. وتم بناء برامجيات خاصة لتحليل الحزم الليزرية وعرض نتائج التحليل على شكل صور ثنائية وثلاثية الأبعاد. وتم أستخدام مكونات بصرية وميكانيكية مثل الموهنات والمرشحات الطيفية والحوامل وذلك لضمان تحقيق نظام تصوير مناسب. وتم التركيز على تصوير إشعاعات ليزرية مستمرة 0.83 μm بطول موجي منبعثة من دايود ليزري وإشعاعات نبضية بطول موجي 1.062 μm منبعثة من ليزر نبضي. أكدت الدراسة إمكانية إستخدام كاميرات فيديوية تقليدية من نوع CCD لتصوير ليزرات الأشعة تحت الحمراء القريبة وتحقيق وضوح وتفاصيل مقبولة للصورة الملتقطة والتي تساعد في أستخدامها لإغراض مراقبة أشعة الليزر وتحليل الأشكال الجانبية لحزمة الليزر.

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the Dirac-Coulomb equation for many-particles, to describe the interaction between electrons in the system having many electrons. The four-component wave function will expanding into a finite basis-set, using Gaussian basis function technique, in order to describe the upper and lower two components of the 4-spinors, respectively. Gaussian basis-set type dyall.v2z has been adopted to describe the correlation and polarization of 4-component wave function. The small component Gaussian basis functions have been generated from large component Gaussian basis functions using kinetic balance relation. The considered techniques have been applied for super heavy element 115Uup, in which the nuclei has large charge and the inner spinors s1/2 is strongly contracted. To solve the problem resulted from singularity at the origin for the 1s1/2 spinors. We adopting the Gaussian charge distribution model to describe the charge of nuclei. To calculate accurate properties of the atomic levels, we used Dirac-Hartree-Fock method, which have more flexibility through Gaussian basis-set to treat relativistic quantum calculation for system has many-particle.

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the Dirac-Hartree-Fock equations for system has many-particles. The difficulties associated with Gaussians model are likely to be more complex in relativistic Dirac-Hartree-Fock calculations. To processing these problem, we use accurate techniques. The four-component spinors will be expanded into a finite basis-set, using Gaussian basis-set type dyall.2zp to describe 4-component wave functions, in order to describe the upper and lower two components of the 4-spinors, respectively. The small component Gaussian basis functions have been generated from large component Gaussian basis functions using kinetic balance relation. The considered techniques have been applied for the heavy element 83Bi. We adopt the Gaussian charge distribution model to describe the charge of nuclei. To calculate accurate properties of the atomic levels, we used Dirac-Hartree-Fock method, which have more flexibility through Gaussian basis-set to treat relativistic quantum calculation for a system has many-particle. Our obtained results for the heavy atom (Z=83), including the total energy, energy for each spinor in atom, and expectation value of give are good compared with relativistic Visscher treatment. This accuracy is attributed to the use of the Gaussian basis-set type Dyall to describe the four-component spinors.

في هذا البحث تم الاخذ بنظر الأعتبار معادلة ديراك هارتري فوك لنظام متعدد الالكترونات . وان الصعوبات التي ترافق نموذج جاوس ستكون اكثر تعقيدا مع حسابات ديراك هارتري فوك، ولمعالجة هذه التعقيدات سنستخدم تقنيات ذات مرونه لحل هذه التعقيدات. سنقوم بتوسيع مركبات البرم النسبية الاربعة الى مجموعة اسس محددة. أن مجموعة أسس جاوس النسبية من نوع dyall. 2zp استخدمت لوصف دوال الموجه النسبية ذات المركبات الاربعة وأن مركبات دوال أسس جاوس النسبيه الصغيره يمكن توليدها من مركبات دوال أسس جاوس الكبيره باستخدام دالة التوازن الحركية. وتم تبني نموذج توزيع كاووس لوصف توزيع شحنة النواة وطبقت هذه التقنية على عنصر ذري ثقيل وهو (Bi, Z=83). للحصول على حسابات اكثر دقة للخصائص الذريه. تم استخدام طريقة ديراك هارتري فوك مع مجموعه أسس جاوس النسبية لمعالجة الحسابات الكمية النسبية لنظام متعدد الذرات. ان النتائج التي حصلنا عليها كانت اكثر دقه من نتائج معالجة Visscher النسبية ويعزى ذلك لاستخدامنا مجموعة أسس جاوس النسبية من نوع Dyall لوصف المركبات الاربعة النسبيه ونموذج توزيع جاوس.

Abstract

The PCA is statistical technique that transforms a multivariate data set consisting of inter-correlated variables into a data set consisting of variables that are uncorrelated linear combination. In our project principal component analysis “PCA” was applied for two set of original bands in two dates (bands 1, 5, and 7 in 1988 and bands 1, 5, and 7 in 1990). In this method the PCA of six channel data sets consisting of multi-temporal LANDSAT TM image pairs often generates higher order principal components that are related to the changes in brightness. Although the image produced by the first component summarizes the information’s that are common to all channels, we can see that the first principal component is dominated by the contribution of the infrared band (band 7) in1988. Our result also, show that over 73.5% and 83.7% of the variability lies in the direction defined by the first and second principal component images respectively.
