Abstract

The use of a laser to modified the surfaces of various materials engineering is a important topics in the present time. Two types of alloys were used in this investigation; 6063Al and C11000 alloys. Samples were prepared by cutting into disc shape of radius 12 mm and then cleaning and polishing process to produce same surface roughness for all samples . Surface roughness and micro hardness were measured for all samples before and after laser shock wave treatment . different laser parameters effect on alloys surface properties were studied such as laser energy , confinement layer( different depth of DDDW) ,and number of laser pulses . The results reveal that the surface roughness are increased by 200% for 6063Al alloy and by 120% for C11000 alloy when we used laser energy of 400mj , number of laser pulses of 100 and confinement layer 5mm . While the microhardness increase by 80% for the two kinds of alloys and at the same conditions . Different measurements were carried out for all samples such as XRF, EDX, SEM , and different mechanical tests For precise and accurate results.

استخدام الليزر لتحسين اسطح المواد الهندسية المختلفة يعد من المواضيع المهمة في الوقت الحاضر وقد استخدم .نوعين من السبائك استخدمت في هذا العمل وهي C11000 و 6063Al . تم تحضير النماذج وذلك بتقطيعها على شكل قرص بقطر 12 ملم وتنظيفها واجراء عملية التنعيم للحصول على خشونة متاوية لجميع العينات. تم قياس درجة الخشونة والصلادة المجهرية لجميع العينات قبل وبعد اجراء عملية الصدمة بالليزرالمؤثرة. تم دراسة تأثير مختلف عوامل الليزر على النماذج مثل طاقة نبضة اللزر وسمك طبقة الحصر وعدد نبضات الليزر . اظهرت النتائج زيادة الخشونة بنسبة 200% بالنسبة للسبيكة 6063Al و بنسبة 120% لسبيكة C11000 عند زيادة طاقة الليزر الى 400mj وعدد النبضات 100 وسمك طبقة الحصر 5mm ، بينما ازدادت الصلادة بنسبة 80% لكلا النوعين وتحت نفس الظروف . ولقد اجريت مختلف القياسات اجريت مثل XRD و XRF و EDX و SEM للحصول على ادق وافضل النتائج .

Abstract

The present work the structure properties of nano Lead sulfide PbS thin films were studied. Thin samples were prepared by pulse laser deposition and deposited on glass substrate at 1064nm wavelength with 800mj laser energy. The structure properties of films were determined by X-ray diffraction studied the effect of variation of substrate temperature on these properties. The films are adherent to the substrate and well crystallized according to the centered cubic structure with the preferential orientation (111) and (200). The minimum value of grain size was 16.5 nm when the film deposited of at 70 oC substrate temperature. The optical investigation showed that, depending on the substrate temperature have direct allowed transitions in the range 1.55–2.45 eV.

في هذا البحث تم دراسة الخصائص التركيبية لاغشية كبريتيد الرصاص النانوية. تم تحضير تلك الاغشية باستخدام تقنية الترسيب بالليزر باستخدام ليزر ذو طول موجي يساوي 1064 نانومتر وبطاقة ليزر تساوي 800 ملي جول. تم دراسة حيود الاشعة السينية ودراسة تاثير تغير درجة حرارة القاعدة على الخصائص التركيبيةوقد لوحظ ان الغشاء المتكون من النوع المتعدد البلوري والطور السائد هو المستوي (111) و(200). ان اقل حجم حبيبي تم الحصول عليه كان 16.5 نانومتر عند درجة حرارة للقاعدة 70 درجة سيليزية. اما الخصائص البصرية تم دراستها ودراسة تاثير تغير درجة حرارة القاعدة عليها, فوجد امتلاكها انتفالات مباشرة ضمن المدى 1.55 الى 2.45 الكترون. فولت.

Abstract

Laser fence is a mechanism used to detect objects that passes vision line between the laser source and optical detector. While, Motion detection theory is the operation of detecting a variation in the location of a body relative to its environment or a variation in the circumference relative to a body. Therefore,this work provides an intelligent link between those two methods using optical communication, by using a new method for detecting moving objects from static background based on different window frames,which achieves the most efficient security system based on high assessment. This assessment was achieved by using visual basic language to evaluate the system. The system program is by using c# as program language to detect a penetration.

Theoretical Analysis of Fiber Bragg Grating Tunable Filter Utilizing Tensile /Compression Technique

Abstract

In this paper a wideband tunable filter based on fiber Bragg grating (TF-FBG) utilizing tensile/ compression technique is theoretically investigated. According to the results, a wide tuning range is achieved about 48.36 nm in C-band region from 1513.7 nm to 1562.1 nm; 12.09 nm for tension and 36.27 nm for compression (C-band refers to the wavelength range 1530–1565 nm). While, for L-band region the wavelength shift is slightly greater than in the C-band region about 49.272 nm from 1543 nm to 1592.3 nm; 12.3 nm for tension and 36.972 nm for compression (L-band refers to the wavelength range 1565 – 1625 nm).
