Abstract

A field experiment is carried out during June to November, 2014 to study the impact of chemical fertilizers with biofertilizer (EM1) on the yield of rice and its components (Oryza sativa L.), cv.Yasamin. The experiment is done using Completely Randomized Block Design with three replicates. There are four treatments of mixed fertilizers, urea and biofertilizer (EM1) that is used in this study, T1 (recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice), T2 (biofertilizer + 1/4 recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice), T3 (1/2 recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice) and T4 (biofertilizer + whole recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice). Significantly, increases are observed in seeds per panicle, 150.9, number of tillers.m-2 462 and grain yield, 5.31 Mg. ha-1 in T4 treatment). Using biofertilizer (EM1) reduces spikelet sterility to 4%.

أجريت تجربة حقلية خلال شهر حزيران - تشرين الثاني، 2014 في تربة طينية مزيجية في حقول محطة ابحاث الرز في المشخاب لدراسة تأثير الأسمدة الكيماوية مع السماد الحيوي (EM1) في حاصل الرز (Oryza sativa L.)، صنف الياسمين (Yasamin), ومكوناته. استعملت توليفة سمادية من السماد المخلوط (P+N) واليوريا والسماد الحيوي, مستحضر الكائنات الدقيقة الفعالة, (EM1) تضمنت اربع معاملات هي T1 (كمية السماد الكيمياوي الموصى بها للرز فقط) و T2 (السماد الحيوي + 1/4 كمية السماد الكيمياوي الموصى بها للرز) و T3 (السماد الحيوي + 1/2 كمية السماد الكيمياوي الموصى بها للرز) و T4 (السماد الحيوي + كمية السماد الكيمياوي الموصى بها للرز). استعمل تصميم القطاعات الكاملة المعشاة وبثلاث مكررات. أظهرت النتائج عند الحصاد زيادات معنوية في عدد الحبوب في الدالية وعدد الفروع الحاملة للداليات في المتر المربع و حاصل الرز عند اضافة المعاملة T4 اذ بلغت القيم 150.9 حبة . دالية1- و 462 دالية. م-2 و5.31 ميكاغرام.هـ-1, وان استعمال السماد الحيوي EM1 خفض النسبة المئوية العدم الخصب الى 4%.

Abstract

A field experiment conducted at Al-Ahamer district, Al-Najaf during summer season of 2013on clay loam soil. The aim was to investigate the effect of the addition of suggested organic-inorganic mixed fertilizer on growth and yield of rice (Oryza sativa L.),cv.Yasamin. Experiment was done as Completely Randomized Block Design with three replicates. Results showed that the addition of organic-inorganic mixed fertilizers (Perl humus +NPK, Open green+ Diammonium phosphate (DAP) +Foliar application, K2SO4), significantly increased plant height (26%), panicle number per square meter (97%), biological yield (44%), grain yield (26%), panicle length (14%), grain number per panicle (06%), 1000 grain weight (52%) and harvest index (55%), in comparison with the Conventional farming using chemical fertilizers (Diammonium phosphate, DAP+ Urea+ nitrogen–phosphorus (NP)).

Abstract

A field experiment carried out at Rice Research Station (RRS), Al-Najaf during summer season ofJuly- November 2013 on clay loam soil. The aim was to identify the effect of the addition of organicand inorganic and mixed fertilizers on the yield and yield components of rice (Oryza sativa L.), C.VYasamin. Experiment was done as Completely Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with threereplicates. There were seven treatments in total, T1 (1/2 recommended fertilizer dose of rice + NPK),T2 (1/2 recommended fertilizer dose of rice + Perl humus), T3 (1/2 recommended fertilizer dose ofrice + NPK + Perl humus), T4 (NPK), T5 (Perl humus), T6 (NPK + Perl humus) and T7(Recommended fertilizer dose of rice). Results showed that the addition of T3 (1/2 recommendedfertilizer dose of rice + NPK + Perl humus), significantly increased growth parameters (plant height,tiller number per square meter), grain yield and yield components (panicle length, grain number perpanicle, and 1000 grain weight). Also T3 recorded maximum biological yield after T2 treatment.
