Abstract

The present study on water quality of the East Al-Hamare marsh after restoration was assessed by using the Canadian council of ministers of the environmental water quality index (CCME WQI) ,the model was applied in two approaches based on the historical data and the CCME aquatic life guidelines as object , we chosen two station in Al-Hammar marsh for the period September 2008- September 2009 ,the index calculation were 13 environment factors: water temperature ,oxegen demand, salinity, Bod5,ph,No3,No2,Po4,sil,Tds,Tss,Turbdity,transperancy, the general historian for the period 2003-2004 was under Marginal assessment in first station and Fair in second station , in the present study WQI value was under fair assessment in two station respectively.

Abstract

The study showed that the Zn concentration in the water is (53.4,47.1, 33.1, 12.1) µgL¯¹ in the four stations respectively .while the concentration of Cd were (11.4,10.4, 10, 9.2) µgL¯¹ in the four stations respectively. Zn concentration was (11.13) µgg¯¹ and Cd concentration (79.6) µgg¯¹ in the sediments of first station, while the concentrations of Zn and Cd (100 , 66.4) µg g¯¹ in the second station respectively. The showed that the highest rates of concentrations of Zn and Cd in the first station in the waters (53.4 , 11.4) µgL¯¹ respectively and the sediment (111.3, 79.6) µgg¯¹ respectively. But the fourth station showed little bit to these elements during the present period of study, the highest concentration of Zn in the tissue of gills, liver and kidney in the first station were (111.4 ,76.1 ,54.3) µgg¯¹ respectively. while no Sensitivity was observed in four station. kidney tissue recorded the lowest value levels of those values comparison with the other organs. The analysis of basic components of the tissues showed the correlation in second station (0.08%) in the pollution of liver and gills of the fish with Ca and Zn while the fourth station was less polluted since was weekly correlated with all pollutants.

اوضحت الدراسة ان تراكيز الخارصين في المياه هو (53.4 و47.1 و 33.1 و 12.1) مايكروغرام لتر¯¹ في المحطات الاربع على التوالي، اما تراكيز الكادميوم فقد سجلت (11.4و10.4 و10 و9.2) مايكروغرام لتر¯¹في المحطات الاربع على التوالي وكان تركيز الخارصين (11.13) مايكروغرام غم¯¹ والكادميوم (79.6) مايكروغرام غم-¹ في رواسب المحطة الاولى، بينما كان التركيزان (66.4 و100 ) مايكروغرام غم¯¹ للخارصين والكادميوم على التوالي في المحطة الثانية، كما اظهرت الدراسة ان اعلى معدلات تركيزي الخارصين والكادميوم في المياه (53.4 و11.4) مايكروغرام لتر¯¹ اما الرواسب فكان لها التركيزان (111.3 و 79.6) مايكروغرام غم¯¹ على التوالي في المحطة الاولى بينما ظهرت المحطة الرابعة تحسس قليل لتلك العناصر خلال الدراسة الحالية، وكان أعلى تركيز لعنصر الخارصين (111.4 و76.1 و54.3) مايكروغرام غم¯¹ لأنسجة الغلاصم والكبد والكلية على التوالي في المحطة الأولى بينما لم يلاحظ تحسس ملحوظ في المحطة الرابعة ، وسجل نسيج الكلية أدنى مستويات تلك القيم مقارنة مع الأعضاء الأخرى، وعند تحليل المكونات الاساسية للأنسجة يبين الارتباط الموجب في المحطة الثانية (0.08%) بتلوث كبد الاسماك وغلاصمهما بعنصري الكادميوم والخارصين بينما كانت المحطة الرابعة اقل تلوثا" لارتباطها الضعيف مع كل الملوثات.
