Abstract

Deep drawing process is an important industrial processes where it has beenextensively used. It is a process for converting the blank metal to make cylindricalshapein most of the cases. A research program for performing basic calculationsrelated to the product shape was utilized. Eighteen geometric shapes have beenselected for the production in this process. The program is include the generalequations for this controlling process for each form. When choosing one of the shapesin the program, the dimensions of the desired product are selected. In other words, theinputs to the program are the required dimensions of the product before reaching therequired deportation. In addition, diameter, height and other related dimension arecomputed which were chosen for each stage throughout the operation. Visual Basiclanguage was used to implement this program because of its ability to deal withgraphical interface. The program also accounts for a large number of mathematicalequations. Computer program is aimed to help designers templates deep drawingquickly through the implementation of the process, and this exceeds the designerexperience that is required to perform the require calculations.

Abstract

Square hole is produced by Press working, Broaching, Non-conventional machining process like Wire EDM, CNC machines, Laser cutting, etc. These methods which mentioned have a complexity of manufacture along with high cost. Creating a square hole using a drill, in addition to having an easier manufacturing process, reduce the cost and time. In this paper, mathematical model of triple cam rotation of constant width inside a square frame is discussed. So, by designing a drilling tool on cam it would be creating a square hole on the work piece. During the rotation of the cam, the center of rotation is not fixed and this is the major problem in this mechanism. There is need to a non-coaxial coupling to transmit the rotational motion. The result of Universal non-coaxial coupling has been used were shown that the rotational velocity of input and output shafts are equals. This coupling can be used for transmitting the rotational motion from the drill to the cam and drilling tool to get a square hole shape..

Abstract

In this paper, the phenomena of vortex shedding from the circular cylinder surface has been studied at several Reynolds Numbers (40≤Re≤ 300).The 2D, unsteady, incompressible, Laminar flow, continuity and Navier Stokes equations have been solved numerically by using CFD Package FLUENT. In this package PISO algorithm is used in the pressure-velocity coupling. The numerical grid is generated by using Gambit program. The velocity and pressure fields are obtained upstream and downstream of the cylinder at each time and it is also calculated the mean value of drag coefficient and value of lift coefficient .The results showed that the flow is strongly unsteady and unsymmetrical at Re>60. The results have been compared with the available experiments and a good agreement has been found between them.

في هذا البحث تم دراسة ظاهرة سير الدوامة من سطح اسطوانة دائرية لعدة قيم من أرقام رينولدز تتراوح قيمها من 40 الى 300 .الجريان ذو البعدين ,غير المشتق, غير الانضغاطي, الطباقي ومعادلات ألاستمرارية ومعادلات نايفر ستوك تم حلها عدديا بواسطة برنامج فلونت لذلك استخدمت طريقة بيزو الرياضية في مزدوج السرعة والضغط.العقد العددية تم توليدها باستخدام برنامج گامبت . توزيع السرعة وتوزيع الضغط تم الحصول عليها أمام ألأسطوانة وخلف ألأسطوانة وكذلك تم حساب معامل مقاومة الهواء ورفع الهواء. النتائج تبين أن الجريان غير مستقر بقوة وغير متماثل عندما يكون رقم رينولد أكبر من 60 .وقد تم مقارنة النتائج مع التجارب المتاحة ووجد توافق جيد بينهما.
