Abstract

V-shape face pumping scheme was used, a comparison between the bulkand the QW laser was made when used as pumping sources in CW mode toa Nd:YVO4 disk crystal, the output power obtained for the bulk diode laserwas 29mW, and when using the QW diode laser the maximum outputpower obtained was 58mW. In pulsed mode when using internallytriggered bulk diode laser with prf=1.3kHz, the maximum emitted peakpower was found to be 40mW, with a resonator length L=13cm, while forexternal triggering with prf=3Hz, the maximum output peak power wasfound to be 145mW.

Abstract

The triggering effect for the face pumping of Nd:YVO4 disc medium of 4×5×0.5 mm was investigated using bulk diode laser at different resonator cavity length in pulse mode and at repetition rate of 1.3kHz. The maximum emitted peak power was found to be 100, 82, and 66 mW for resonator lengths of 10, 13.5, and 17.5 cm respectively, while the threshold pumping power was found to be 41mW. The maximum emitted peak power obtained was 300 mW when using external triggering and 10cm length, with repetition of 3Hz.

في هذا العمل تمت دراسة تأثير القدح في عملية الضخ المباشر الامامي لعينه القرص (Nd:YVO4 ) بابعاد )4x5x 0.5 mm( باستخدام ليزرالصمام الثنائي لابعاد مختلفة لمرنان الضخ النبضي بتكرارية kHz 1.3. ووجد ان اعلى قيمة للقدرة المنبعثة هي بحدودmW 100,82,66 لابعاد المرنان cm 10,13.5,17.5 على التوالي بينما وجد ان قدرة العتبه كانت بحدود mW 41 وان اعلى ذروة قدرة انبعاث كانت mW 300 عند استخدام اشارة قدح خارجية ولطول المرنان cm10 وتكرارية Hz3 للضخ النبضي.
