Abstract

The present study has been conducted to evaluate the antialgal activities of the leaves crude extracts of Dodonaea viscosa plant. The antialgal activities of ethanol (80%) and diethyl ether crude leaf extracts of D. viscosa were tested against Microcystis flos- aquae, Scenedsmus dimorphus and Mougeotia scalaris. The agar well diffusion method was used to evaluate the inhibitory actions of these extracts with three concentrations: 5,10, and 20 mg/ml. The results showed that the ethanol extracts were more effective on algae than diethyl ether extracts. The alga: Mougeotia scalaris and Microcystis flos- aquae have more sensitive than Scenedsmus dimorphus to attack by the ethanolic extracts, while Mougeotia scalaris have more resistsnce to attack by the diethyl ether extracts followed by Microcystis flos- aquae, while Scenedsmus dimorphus have more sensitive to attack by diethyl ether extracts.

درست تأثيرات المستخلصات الخام لأوراق نبات الدودونيا Dodonaea viscosa على الطحالب. اختبرت الفعالية المضادة لنوعين من مستخلصات الأوراق هي مستخلص الايثانول (80%) ومستخلص الداي اثيل ايثر ضد كل من الطحالب: Microcystis flos- aquae, Scenedsmus dimorphus و Mougeotia scalaris بطريقة الحفر و الانتشار خلال الاكار لتحديد الفعالية التثبيطية لتلك المستخلصات اذ استخدمت ثلاثة تراكيز هي 5 , 10, 20 ملغم/ مل.اظهرت النتائج ان مستخلص الايثانول للاوراق كان اكثر تاثيرا على الطحالب من مستخلص الداي اثيل ايثر. و ان طحلبي ,Mougeotia scalaris Microcystis flos- aquae اكثر حساسية من طحلب Scenedsmus dimorphu لمستخلص الايثانول بينما كان طحلب Mougeotia scalarisالاكثر مقاومة لمستخلص الداي اثيل ايثرللاوراق ثم تلاه طحلب Microcystis flos- aquae بينما كان طحلب Scenedsmus dimorphus الاكثر حساسية لمستخلص الاوراق باستخدام داي اثيل ايثر.

Abstract

The research was conducted to study the effect of adding different concentrations of AgNo3 Nanoparticles (0,0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0) mg/ l in the production of some secondary metabolic compounds(Quercetin, Luetolin and Apigenin) of plant Dodonaea viscosa L. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of secondary metabolites were estimated by using( HPLC ). The explants from leaves were culture on MS media supplemented with 2mg/l of 2,4-D, 0.5mg/l of NAA and 0.5 mg/l of BA for callus induction. Adding AgNo3 Nanoparticles (2 mg/l) cause in significant increase of Quercetin and Luetolin production, while adding AgNo3 Nanoparticles (0.5mg/l) led to significant increase of Apigenin in callus extract.

أجري البحث لدراسة تأثير اضافة تراكيز مختلفه نترات الفضه النانويه AgNO3Nanoparticles بالتراكيز (0,0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0) ملغم/لتر كمحفز في انتاج بعض مركبات الايض الثانوي (Quercetin Apigenin, Luetolin ,) لنبات Dodonaea viscosa L. والتي تعد من المركبات الطبيه والصيدلانيه المهمه. قدرت مركبات الايض الثانوي بالتحليل الكمي والنوعي بأستعمال جهازHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).حفز الكالس على النشوء من زراعة اجزاء من الاوراق على وسط Murashige and Skoog (MS) المدعم بأضافة 2 ملغم/لتر2,4-D (Dichloro phenoxy acetic acid) و0.5 ملغم /لتر (NAA) Naphthalene acetic acid و 0.5ملغم/لترBenzyl adenine BA)) وقد استعملت التوليفه نفسها لأدامة الكالس. ادت اضافة نترات الفضه النانويه في التركيز 2 ملغم/لتر الى زياده معنويه في انتاج مركب Quercetin و Luetolin وصل الى 103.3868.17, , مايكروغرام/مل على التوالي. كما ان تركيز مركب Apigenin قد ارتفع معنويا عند التركيز 0.5 ملغم/لتر من نترات الفضه النانويه وصل ال 196.01 مايكروغرام/مل مقارنة بالتراكيز الاخرى.

Abstract

The isolates from urine and synovial fluid samples of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria were isolated and identified, in order to study alternative treatment or antibacterial agents of plant extracts from Rosmarinus officinalis and Dodonaea viscosa plants. The isolates were identified by using cultural and biochemical tests, in addition to API 20E kit as confirmation test. The results exhibited that Rosemary extract prevents the biofilm formation and causes inhibition to bacterial growth, while the doddonia extract causes antibacterial activity on the tested bacteria.

العزلات من عينات الادرار و السائل الزليلي من بكتريا Escherichia coliو Staphylococcus aureus عزلت وشخصت, بهدف دراسة علاج بديل اوعوامل مضادة للبكتريا من مستخلصات نباتية من نباتات Rosmarinus officinalis and Dodonaea viscosa .شخصت العزلات بواسطة الفحوصات الزرعية والبايوكيميائية فضلا عن API20E كفحوصات توكيدية. ان مستخلص ال Rosemary منع التصاق البكتريا على السطوح وسبب تثبيط لنمو البكتريا, بينما مستخلص نبات ال doddonia سبب فعالية مضادة للبكتريا على بكتريا الاختبار .

Abstract

In this present study, methanolic and aqueous crude extracts of leaves of Dodonaea viscosa were investigated for their antibacterial activity against Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella typhi and Bacillus cereus using the agar well diffusion method. The high concentrations of methanolic and aqueous extracts (30 and 40 mg/ml) have inhibitory effects against microorganisms used in this study. The phytochemical analysis of the leaf extracts of D. viscosa were investigated the results show that the methanolic and aqueous extracts contain flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, coumarins and steroids. In addition, the antioxidant and free radical scavenging activities were evaluated. The EC50 values of methanolic extract (8 μg/ml) has shown possess DPPH radical scavenging activity compared with reference substances BHT and vitamin C (EC50= 4 and 4.2 μg/ml) respectively.

Abstract This study was performed to examine the activity of water and Alcohol extracts for the leaves and stem bark of the Dodoaea viscosa jacq on three plant pathogens belonging to the genus Fusarium ; F.solani , F.oxysporium , F.moniliforme The influense of cold and hot extracts from the plant on the Invitro growth of three Fusarium species . Exhibited the following results : First:the acohol extracts (cold and hot) Dodonaea leaves showed higher significant reduction on the growth of the three Fusarium sp than cold and hot water extracts of the leaves at low and high concentrations . Moreover, the cold acohol extracts of the leaves had a higher percentage growth reduction on the three plant pathogens Fusarium at higher concentration ;(40 Mg/ml) . the redactions were between (86-89)% and lower than the growth redactions were established by the control and Benomyl fungicide (100%) Second: the four types of Dodonaea bark extracts in general , has less percentage of growth inhibition in the three Fusarium sp , than leaves extracts . الخلاصة:- Abstract اجريت هذه الدراسة لاختبار فعالية المستخلصات المائية والكحولية لاوراق وقلف الساق لنبات الدودونيا Dodonaea viscosa jacq في تثبيط نمو ثلاثة انواع من جنس الفطر ; Fusarium F.solani , F.oxy sporum , F.moniliforme المسببة للعديد من الامراض النباتية الفطرية. كانت نتائج معاملات الاستخلاص المائي والكحولي (البارد والحار) لنبات الدودونيا في تثبيط نمو الانواع الثلاث للفطر خارج الكائن الحي كلاتي:- 1. تفوق معنوي للمستخلصات الكحولية على المائية لاوراق الدودونيا ولاسيما المستخلص الكحولي البارد فقد حقق نسبة مئوية في التثبيط تراوحت بين (89 - 86)% عند التركيز (40) مليغرام/مللتر مقارنة مع السيطرة والمبيد Benomyl.2. حقق مستخلص قلف الدودونيا نسبة اقل مقارنة بالاوراق وتميز المستخلص الكحولي الحار احصائيا عن باقي المستخلصات وحقق نسبة تثبيط تراوحت بين (87 - 74)% عند التركيز (40) مليغرام/ مللتر
