Abstract

lfide (PbS) thin films were prepared by spraying pytolysis Method(SPM). Glass substrates with (1 x 2.6 x 7.6) cm were used at room temperature . Thinfilm of (PbS) was a doped by (Copper ,Cu) then the effect of annealing at differenttemperatures(100,200)C0 on the optical properties of (pbS) and (PbS:Cu) areinvestigation. The optical properties of the (pbs)and (pbs:cu) such as absorbance andtransmittance have been analyzed by using (FTIR - 8400S) instrument. The opticalband gab energy has been obtained from the plot between the (αhυ) as a function ofphoton energy (hυ) was (0.43) eV for (pbs) and (0.41 ) eV for (pbs:cu) at the roomtemperature . The absorption spectra of the films showed that (pbs) and (pbs:cu) havea direct band gap increase slowly with temperature annealing

Abstract

In this work; copper oxide films (CuO) were fabricated by PLD. The films were analyzed by UV-VIS absorption spectra and their thickness by using profilometer. Pulsed Nd:YAG laser was used for prepared CuO thin films under O2 gas environment with varying both pulse energy and annealing temperature. The optical properties of as-grown film such as optical transmittance spectrum, refractive index and energy gap has been measured experimentally and the effects of laser pulse energy and annealing temperature on it were studied. An inverse relationship between energy gap and both annealing temperature and pulse energy was observed.

في هذا البحث تم تحضير اغشية CuO بواسطة تقنية PLD, وتم تحليلها ودراسة خصائصها باستخدام مطياف الامتصاص UV-VIS. اما اسماكها فقد قيست بجهاز profilometer. استخدم ليزر Nd:YAG النبضي لتحضير اغشية CuO بوجود غاز الاوكسجين مع تغيير كل من درجة حرارة التلدين وطاقة الليزر. اما الخصائص البصرية للاغشية المتكونة مثل طيف النفاذية البصرية ومعامل الانكسار وفجوة الطاقة فقد درست هي الاخرى. لوحظ ان هناك علاقة عكسية بين فجوة الطاقة وكل من درجة حرارة التلدين وطاقة الليزر.
