Abstract

This paper describes the construction of a rover mobile robot which is used tofollow the resultant optimal path from the global path planning technique. A remotecomputer is used to control the motion of the mobile robot and to upload the data ofthe path wirelessly. The control (positioning and directing) of the robot is based on thereadings of two wheel encoders. The current direction and position of the robot arecalculated relatively to its previous direction and position. The control algorithm iscapable to move the mobile robot in order to follow a certain path. The software of thecontrol algorithm is executed using PIC microcontroller. To prove the efficiency of thecontrol algorithm, this algorithm applied on the constructed mobile robot to move it inreal world environment between different start and end points. The constructed mobilerobot shows that it can follow the required path and reach the target within specifiederror percent.

Abstract

In this paper, the cheap circuit of key electromechanical are designed and implemented to provide protection to the buildings, so that, the code is given for authorized people to enter these places and are controlled from the inside and out remotely using a remote control that contains the special code with a very large probabilities up to (20,000,000 ) possibility. This design consists of two main parts, electronic and mechanic parts, is designed and implemented using the (Orcade program Version 16) with good results. The Designed electronic circuit (motor circuit) is operates at a specific time, the motor dominated by jagged spiral driven by two-way. The first circuit is controlled on the motor circuit clockwise while the second circuit is controlled on the motor for anti clockwise direction with the duration of time is determined by the designer. Abstract

The near infra-red signals reflected by different surfaces are studied. The transmitted signals are reflected by different surface obstacles for varied distances among the receiver, reflector and remote controller. The infra-red transmitter transmits the operating signals indirect to the remote sensor. This provides guidelines for another proper way. The proper adjustment and installation positions, of reflecting surfaces display the signal on the screen of user as a flash. The experimental results indicate that the limiting distances of the remote controller and the reflecting surfaces depending upon types, colors the reflecting surfaces ,besides incident angle on these surfaces. By using transmission indicator ,we can decide if the signal is bad or good. It was noted that the increasing distances above the limit interrupt with the reception. Also the sensing ranges of IR or invisible laser radiation are decreasing when the reflected areas & reflectivity of obstacles decrease, but the maximum incident angles decrease when the surface have high reflectivity. The research benefits for purposes of limitation of targets and types of directional reflectors to download, natural sites of user activator and guidance, to determine the sites of system like space channels or video image.

المنعكسة عن سطوح لمواد مختلفة في أنواعها وألوانها ولمسافات مختلفة بين NIR لقد تمت دراسة الأشعة والإشارة تحت الحمراء القريبةجهاز التحكم عن بعد والعاكس ووحدة الاستقبال ،حيث تم نقل الإشارة الى المستقبلة بصورة غير مباشرة ،وهذا يؤدي الى استخدام طريقة جديدة فيالعمل .إن التناغم ألموقعي الصحيح للسطوح العاكسة يؤدي الى مسح الشاشة بالإشارة المستلمة على شكل ومضة .ولقد بينت النتائج العملية أنللمسافات المستخدمة بين جهاز التحكم والسطوح العاكسة ووحدة الاستقبال حدودا عليا تعتمد على نوع ولون العاكس بالإضافة الى زاوية سقوط الأشعةتحت الحمراء على تلك السطوح .وباستخدام مؤشر استقبال الإشارة فيا إذا كانت الإشارة جيدة أم رديئة ..إن زيادة المسافة فوق حد معين يتقاطع معجودة الاستلام .كما تبين أن تناقص مساحة العاكس أو انعكاسيته يؤدي الى تناقص قدرة التحسس للإشارة المستلمة ،غير أن الحد الأعلى لقيمة زاويةالسقوط يتناقص مع زيادة انعكاسية السطح المستخدم.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a multi-job control system for controlling on different job on home or office by using a simple scientific technique. Making more holes on walls of home to connect a wire or control cable for any job does not desired.The research is aiming to design a wireless control system. This control system can send any command to any device in the home or office without making any more holes in walls.This research depends on using the 220 VAC 50 Hz wires, which had been provided in home or office. The frequencies used to control the devices will be carried by the 50 Hz current used in home. These frequencies have been chosen between 30-110 kHz, and we can use (8) channels in this band to prevent interference of commands. The wireless control on the devices will be done by using a PC computer and simple BASIC program. ON-OFF command can be sent by the operator to any device by a transmitter built and interface with that compute.

Abstract

Home automation becomes important, because it givesthe user convenient and easy method to use homeappliances. This paper aims to help people with specialneeds or physical disabilities and injuries by paralysis tocontrol any device using infrared technology using voicecommands based on the voice recognition system (voicerecognition unit V3) system can recognize voicecommands, convert them to desired data coordination anddata transmission via IR transmitter and microcontroller(Arduino Uno) Receiving this signal by IR sensor tocontrol TV receiver then get a full remote control thatworks by voice commands. The software consists of aMicro C language programmable microcontroller. Thissystem is of low cost and flexible with growing variety ofdevices that can be controlled.

Abstract

Nowadays, robotics technology has become very popular in all fields of human life. Many robots have been already used in different applications such as indoor service, military undertaking, entertainment, healthcare service, etc. On the other hand, controlling robot remotely plays an important role in many areas when people cannot reach easily. Therefore, the aim of this work is to allow users to perform remote control experiments on a mobile robot through Bluetooth, Internet and SMS. The commands could be entered manually, using voice command, or using QR code. To limit the cost of the proposed system, the inexpensive (compared to more professional robot platforms) LEGO Mindstorm robot is used.

في الوقت الحاضر، اصبحت تقنية الروبوتات شائعة جدا في مختلف مجالات حياة الانسان. العديد من الروبوتات تم استخدامها في مختلف التطبيقات على سبيل المثال في الخدمات المنزلية والمشاريع العسكرية والترفيهية وفي الخدمات الصحية، وغيرها من التطبيقات. من ناحية اخرى، التحكم بالروبوتات عن بعد يلعب دورا هاما في العديد من الاماكن التي يصعب على الانسان الوصول اليها. لذلك، الغرض من هذا العمل هو السماح للمستخدمين بأداء تجارب التحكم عن بعد على الروبوتات المتحركة من خلال البلوتوث والانترنيت والرسائل النصية. اوامر التحكم يمكن ادخالها يدويا او عن طريق الاوامر الصوتية او عن طريق رمز الاستجابة السريعة. لتقليل كلفة النظام المقترح، تم استخدام روبوت الـ LEGO Mindstorm والذي يعد قليل التكلفة مقارنة مع منصات الروبوتات المتقدمة.
