Abstract

This study presents, efficient FPGA Virtex-5 design flow based QAMmodulator using System Generator from Xilinx and MATLAB frommathworks. To allow all digital communication systems for easy adoptedwith more complicated coding and modulation techniques, the SoftwareRadio (SR) mode has to be used which is extremely in meeting theincreasing demands of the wireless communication and mobile industry.However, in this study, the shortest and efficient paths to design an FPGAusing MATLAB, Xilinx System Generator, ModelSim, synplify Pro and ISE(Integrated Software Environments ) software tools is introduced. Thefloating point design in MATLAB has been moved to fixed point valuesusing the most attractive and friendly Xilinx DSP system generatorsoftware a model based approach associated with assistance softwarefrom Mathworks and Synplicity. Result obtained shows an importantutilization in Look Up Table (LUT) and Slices in FPGA Virtex-5 design.This demonstrates the ability of less power consumption.

ھذه الدراسة تقدم ،تَصمیم وتنفیذ مصفوفة البوابات المبرمجة بالاعتماد على التعدیل الرباعي باستخداممولد النظام وبرنامج ماتلاب. للسَماح لكُلّ أنظمة الإتصالِ الرقمیةِ لتبني تقنیات تحمیل وتشفیر اكثر تعقیدا،ِ یَجِبُ أَنْ یُستَعمل نمط إس دي آر بشكل ملحوظ لتامین الطلبات المتزایدةِ مِنْ إتصالِ اللاسلكي والصناعةَالنقَّالةَ. لذلك، تعتمد ھذه الدراسةِ، على الطرق الأقصر والكفوءة لتَصمیم مصفوفة البوابات المبرمجة منماتلاب وآي إس إي ( بیئاتَ البرامجِ , Synplify خلال استخدام برنامج ، مولّد نظامِ ، مودیلسمالمتكاملة) و أدوات برامجِ مُقَدَّمةُ. تصمیم تمثیل قیم الاعداد في برنامج ماتلاب یحول إلى قِیَمِ الثابتةِباستخدام البرنامج الأكثر شیوعا وحداثة المتمثل بقاعدة المعالج الرقمي للاشارة . ان حاملات الاشارةورموزھا یمكن اكتشافھا بالاعتماد على دائرة قفل الطور . النتائج التي تم الحصول علیھا تؤكد علىامكانیة تحسین وتقلیل عدد الجداول والشرائح في تصمیم مصفوفة البوابات المبرمجة مما یعني استھلاكاقل للقدرة

Abstract

Machining of hard metal is difficult by conventional method to obtain high accuracy where the dimensional accuracy is the main factor. Wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) extensively used, which is mostly used in machining of conductive materials by using precisely controlled sparks that occur between a very thin wire and a workpiece in the presence of a dielectric fluid. This study serves in studying surface roughness (SR) of high speed steel (HSS) using taguchi method to design the experiment, this was achieved with utilizing different wire cut machining parameters and study the behavior of these control parameters such as pulse duration (μs), pulse interval (μs), Servo feed and Servo voltage (V) on surface roughness. It can be noticed that when servo voltage and servo feed increase the surface roughness decreases and when pulse duration and pulse interval increase the surface roughness increases too, and It was found with using taguchi parameter design that the best machining variables of combination setting is Servo Voltage (22) volts, Pulse on time (110) μs, servo feed (450) mm/min and Pulse off time (30) μs to reach to the minimum value of surface roughness and hence better surface finish.

Abstract

Background: The aim of this in-vitro study was to identify the influence of intracoronal indirect adhesive techniques(heat processed composite (SR Adoro) andcomputer-aided design / computer-assisted manufacturing (CAD/CAM)ceramic (e Max CAD) inlays)on the fracture resistance of maxillary first premolars and to identify the modes offracture of all experimental groups.Materials and Methods: Forty sound freshly extracted upper first premolar teeth were selected then mounted inacrylic blocks, the teeth were divided into four groupsas follow:Group (A): tenintact teeth (control group).Group (B):ten teeth prepared with standardized MOD inlay cavity but not restored. Group(C): ten teeth prepared withstandardized MOD inlay cavity and restored with indirect heat processed composite (SR Adoro).Group (D): ten teethprepared with standardized MOD inlay cavity and restored with CAD /CAM ceramic material (e max CAD).Fracturestrength of the experimented teeth was measured by using universal testing machine (an axial compressiontest).Data were analyzed statistically by ANOVA and least significant difference tests.Results:Group (D) restored with CAD/CAM ceramic inlays showed more resistance to fracture than teeth restoredwith SR Adoro composite inlays group (C), but the values are statistically not significant, using One way ANOVA test ahighly significant differences (P < 0.01) were found among all groups.Conclusions:All CAD/CAM ceramic inlays and 80% of heat processed compositeinlays survived maximum biting forcefor posterior single tooth, so these two types of inlays provide good reinforcement in an extensive MOD cavities inpremolars,The fracture Mode of SR Adoro composite inlays seems to be 80% restorable while CAD/CAM ceramicinlays 90% of it are restorable type of fracture

Abstract

This paper concerned with study the effect of a graphite micro powder mixed in the kerosene dielectric fluid during powder mixing electric discharge machining (PMEDM) of high carbon high chromium AISI D2 steel. The type of electrode (copper and graphite), the pulse current and the pulse-on time and mixing powder in kerosene dielectric fluid are taken as the process main input parameters. The material removal rate MRR, the tool wear ratio TWR and the work piece surface roughness (SR) are taken as output parameters to measure the process performance. The experiments are planned using response surface methodology (RSM) design procedure. Empirical models are developed for MRR, TWR and SR, using the analysis of variance (ANOVA).The best results for the productivity of the process (MRR) obtained when using the graphite electrodes, the pulse current (22 A), the pulse on duration (120 µs) and using the graphite powder mixing in kerosene dielectric reaches (82.84mm³/min). The result gives an improvement in material removal rate of (274%) with respect to the corresponding value obtained when copper electrodes with kerosene dielectric alone. The best results for the tool wear ratio (TWR) of the process obtained when using the copper electrodes, the pulse current (8 A), the pulse on duration (120 µs) and using the kerosene dielectric alone reaches (0.31 %). The use of graphite electrodes, the kerosene dielectric with 5g/l graphite powder mixing, the pulse current (8 A), the pulse on duration (40 µs) give the best surface roughness of a value (2.77 µm).This result yields an improvement in SR by (141%) with respect to the corresponding value obtained when using copper electrodes and the kerosene dielectric alone with the same other parameters and machining conditions.

يعني هذا البحث بدراسة تأثير مسحوق الجرافيت الميكروي الممزوج في مائع الكيروسين العازل كهربائيا خلال عملية التشغيل بالقطع بالتفريغ الكهربائي مع خلط المسحوق (PMEDM) لقطع صلب عالي الكربون والكروم عالية نوع D2 . وقد تم استعمال نوع القطب (النحاس والجرافيت) وتيار النبضة وزمن استمرار النبضة ومسحوق الخلط في مائع الكيروسين العازل كمعاملات الإدخال الرئيسة للعملية. وقد اخذ كل من معدل ازالة المعدن و نسبة تآكل العدة والخشونة السطحية لقطعة العمل كمعاملات الإخراج لقياس أداء العملية. وقد تم اعداد التجارب العملية باستخدام منهجية استجابة السطح بوصفه أداة للتصميم . وتم تطوير موديلات تجريبية لمعدل ازالة المعدن و نسبة تآكل العدة والخشونة السطحية ، وذلك باستخدام طريقة تحليل التباين . ان أفضل النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها لزيادة كفاءة معدل الإنتاجية للعملية عند استخدام أقطاب الجرافيت وتيار النبضة مقداره (22 امبير) وزمن نبضة مدتها (120 ميكرو ثانية) وباستخدام مسحوق الجرافيت الممزوج في مائع الكيروسين العازل حيث بلغت (82.84 ملم³ / دقيقة). وهذه النتيجة تعطي تحسنا في معدل إزالة المادة تبلغ (274٪) نسبة للقيمة التي تم الحصول عليها عندما تم استعمال أقطاب النحاس مع الكيروسين العازل لوحده. كما ان أفضل النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها لنسبة تآكل العدة للعملية عند استخدام أقطاب النحاس وتيار النبضة مقداره (8 امبير) وزمن نبضة مدتها (120 ميكرو ثانية) وباستخدام الكيروسين العازل لوحده حيث بلغت (0.31٪) . كما ان استخدام أقطاب الجرافيت والكيروسين العازل مع 5 غم / لتر من مسحوق الخلط الجرافيتي وتيار نبضة مقداره (8 امبير) وزمن نبضة مدتها (40 ميكرو ثانية) يعطي أفضل خشونة سطحية قيمتها (2.77 ميكرومتر) ، وهذا النتيجة تعطي تحسنا في نعومة السطح بنسبة (141٪) نسبة للقيمة التي تم الحصول عليها عندما تم استعمال أقطاب النحاس ومائع الكيروسين العازل لوحده مع نفس المدخلاات والظروف الأخرى للتشغيل .

Abstract

Loss of the lower limb can cause loss of mobility.At all places and at all times, efforts have always been made to make up for such a loss.In this work polymer composite materialshad been used to manufacture prosthetic foot. Polymer composite materialsPMMA:SR/PURreinforced by carbon fibers (CF) were prepared as suitable material for prosthetic foot then, tensile characteristics were measured and determined. Numerical work included Finite element method (ANSYS-15) was used to analyze and evaluate deformation, stress and strain characteristics of a new designed prosthetic foot, which was treated as three-dimensional structure composite polymer material. The experimental and theoretical results were improvedthat polymer composite material can be used for this application

Abstract

It is vital to study the impact of heat since it has an unwanted phenomenon on the operating life of parts produced, which is in turn effect the cost of production. when dimension accuracy is the primary function Wire cut machining comprehensively used specially when machining hard metal by using precisely controlled sparks that occur between a very thin wire and a workpiece in the presence of a dielectric fluid. The aim of this research is to study the effects of some Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) variables on heat affected zone, white layer and Surface Roughness (SR) of high speed steel using ANOVA method to analyze the behavior of control parameters such as pulse on time (μs), current and wire tension. Experimental investigations separates into two main parts in the first one the wire electrical discharge machining process was accomplished on smart EDM (Electra wire cut machine), and in the second part the roughness of the machined samples surface was tested and the samples were prepared to be measured. The results shows that the heat affected zone and the white layer are affected with the risen of the current and pulse on time values more than the risen in wire tension values, as well as the wire tension affects the surface roughness more than the current and pulse on time.

Abstract

Subhi.S.R1,Khaled.H.M2, Abdul Salam .S.B2Unversity of Tikreet, College of Engeerning,Dept of Electreic1Unversity of Tikreet, College of Education,Dept of Physics2Abstract: The sample of high temperature superconductivity of type Tl-2223 ( Tl2 Ba2Ca2Cu3O10+ ) have been prepared by using solid state reaction method . The samples have been prepared at the sintering temperature (840o C) for (24h ) at average heating rate( 2o C/ Min ) and hydrostatic pressure (8 ton / cm2).The partial substitution effect of(Ag) in (Tl) and ( Sr ) in ( Ba ) in the compound as(Tl2Ba2¬-ySryCa2Cu3O10+ ) has been investigated where (x= y= 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3). The X-Ray diffraction patterns were obtained , the compound has been characterized as ( Tl-2223 ) having tetragonal structure with lattice parameters ( a=b=3.91 ) and (c= 33.54 for ( x=y=0 ). Also the X-Ray diffraction data showed that the structure of the compound is tetragonal phase in the rang

حضرت عينات فائقة التوصيل عند درجات الحرارة العالية من النوع (2223)Tl (Tl2-xAxBa2¬-ySryCa2Cu3O10+) , بطريقة تفاعل الحالة الصلبة, وعند درجة الحرارة التلبيد (840o C) لمدة (24h) بمعدل تسخين (2o C/min) وضغط هيدروستاتيكي (8 ton / ), أظهرت دراسة حيود الاشعة السينية (XRD) للمركب (Tl2223) انه ذو تركيب بلوري من نوع الرباعي القائم (Tetragonal) وذات ابعاد شبيكة (a=b=3.91 ) و(c=33.54 ). وكذلك تم دراسة تأثير التعويض الجزئي للعنصر (Sr) في (Ba) وبنسب مختلفة ل (0.1,0.2,0.3) حيث ( x=y ) وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة من خلال فحص التركيب البلوري للمركب بان التركيب يبقى محافظا على النوع الرباعي القائم ضمن المدى ( )..
