Abstract

Cadmium (Cd) and selenide powder used to prepared cadmium selenide alloy. (CdSe) thin films of thickness 1320 Å were thermally evaporated technique deposited on glass substrate at room temperature. The as-deposited films were annealed in air atmosphere at 100oC, for three different annealing times (60, 120 and 180 minutes). The structural investigation performed by x-ray diffraction (XRD) technique; showed that the films have a polycrystalline and hexagonal (wurtzite) structure. For all deposited films the preferential orientation is (002).The value of lattice constant (a), grain size, strain and dislocation density of the deposited films are calculated and their variations with annealing times are studied. The absorbance spectra of cadmium selenide thin films were recorded in the wave length range of 400 nm to 900 nm. The values of the optical band gap energy, Eg (allowed direct transitions), calculated from the absorption spectra, ranged between (2.54 and 2.41) eV

Abstract

The AgInS2 thin films were prepared on a glass substrates with different substrate temperatures (623, 573,523 and 473) K by chemical spray Pyrolysis . For annealing temperature 473 K , different time ( 2, 2.5 and 3) hourshave been applied .The structure test produced by used the x-ray techniques by (Diffraction and diffractometer Philips200) system with copper target (Cu - Kα), wavelength (0.15406 nm), the average is (2000counts/sec), the voltage is(40 KV) , the scanning average is (5 deg /min) and the angle range is (2θ =20o – 60o).The optical properties of theAgInS2 films were determined from the absorbance (A) and the transmittance (T) data , using UV-Vis.Spectrophotometer at wavelength (400 – 1000) nm at room temperature.The direct band gap of (1.87 – 2.46) eV hasbeen found that of the AgInS2 thin films according the substrate temperature , also , it is affected by annealing timeand becomes ( 1.82 – 2.15) eV . The optical constants (α , k , n ) are also changed as the substrate temperature andannealing time change .The AgInS2 films regard as active selecting films in the range (400 – 665) nm , and can be usedas an absorber layers in solar cells and optoelectric devices.

الخلاصة623, 573, 523, 473 ) و لدنت بدرجة ) K الرقیقة بطریقة الرش الكیمیائي الح ا رري على ش ا رئح زجاجیة بدرجات ح ا ررة أساس AgInS حضرت أغشیة 2473 ) بأوقات تلدین مختلفة ( 2,2.5,3 ) ساعة .تم أج ا رء الفحص التركیبي باستخدام تقنیة حیود الأشعة السنیة باستخدام جهاز من نوع K) ح ا ررةوالباعث للأشعة السینیة بطول موجي (Cu - Kα) والمزود بهدف من مادة النحاس (Diffraction and diffractometer Philips 200)(2θ =20o – 5) ومدى ا زویة deg /min) 30 ) ومعدل مسح mA) 40 ) وتیار KV) 2000 ) و بفولتیة counts/sec) 0.15406 ) وبمعدل nm)UV- 400-1000 ) باستخدام المطیاف )nm حددت من معلومات الامتصاصیة و النفاذیة للأطوال الموجیة AgInS 60 .الثوابت البصریة لأغشیة 2 o)(1.87 – 2.46) eV تمتلك فجوة طاقة مباشرة AgInS وجد أن أغشیة 2 .(SP-8-100 UV/Vis Pye unicam) في درجة ح ا ررة الغرفة نوع Visibleتغی رت نتغیر درجة (α , k and n) 1.82 ) أن قیم الثوابت البصریة – 2.15) eV حسب درجة ح ا ررة الأساس وكذلك تأثرت بزمن التلدین و اصبحت400 - 665 )، وهذه الخصائص ترشح هذه الأغشیة لاستخدامها كطبقات ) nm ح ا ررة الأساس و زمن التلدین و لوحظ أن هذه الأغشیة فعالة في المنطقةماصة في الخلایا الشمسیة و النبائط الالكتروبصریة
