The experiment was carried out during 2014-2015 growing season, at Shat-Al-Arab District, Basra Governorate to study the effect of spraying with kally 28 at three concentrations of (0, 2.5 and 5 mg.l-1 ) and potassium nitrate at three concentrations of ( 0 , 0.5 and 1) mM on carrot cv.Nantes growth and yield. Plants sprayed with kally 28 at 5 mg.l-1 and potassium nitrate at 1 mM 1 had significantly higher vegetative growth parameters (plant height ,leaf number.plant-1, and leaves chlorophyll content) and yield parameters( root weight ,root length , root diameter Total solid soluble of fresh roots and plant total yield of roots, as compared to other treatments. Plants sprayed with kally 28 at 5 mg.l-1 and potassium nitrate at 1 mM dual treatment gae the highest yield root weight, total soluble solids of fresh roots, roots content of carotene, root length , root diameter, and total productivity 30.56 g,22.86% ,27.00mg.g-1 , 17.5cm ,23mm ,21 .9 ton.hectar-1, respectively, as compared to control, which had low (18.78g, 14.20%, 11.0600mg.g-1, 11.56cm, 16.80 mm,9.11 ton.hectar-1 respectively.

نفذت التجربة في احد البساتين في قضاء شط العرب محافظة البصرة للموسم الزراعي الشتوي2015 -2016 لدراسة تاثير الرش بنترات البوتاسيوم بتراكيز(0 ،0.5 ،1) مليمول و Kally 28بتراكيز (0 ،2.5 ،5 ) ملغم.لتر-1 في نمو وحاصل نبات الجزر صنف Nantes.اشارت اهم النتائج الى تفوق النباتات المرشوشة بنترات البوتاسيوم تركيز 1مليمول وKally 28 بتركيز 5 ملغم.لتر-1 معنويا في مؤشرات النمو الخضري ( ارتفاع النبات ،عدد الاوراق الكلي ،المحتوى النسبي للكلوروفيل في الاوراق ) ومكونات الحاصل ( وزن الجذر(غم)، النسبة المئوية للمواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية في الجذور ، طول الجذر(سم)، قطر الجذر(ملم )، الانتاجية الكلية طن .دونم -1والكاروتين ملغم.غم-1وزن طري وكان للتداخل بين عاملي الدراسة تاثيرا معنويا في جميع الصفات المدروسة اذ اعطت النباتات المرشوشة بنترات البوتاسيوم تركيز 1 مليمول والمرشوشة Kally28بتركيز 5 ملغم. لتر-1 اعلى وزن للجذر ونسبة مئوية للمواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية وكاروتين في الجذور وطول وقطر الجذر وانتاجية كلية بلغت (21.9غم،%30.56 ،22.86 ملغم.غم-1، 27.00سم ، 17.50 ملم ، 23.28 طن.هكتار-1 ) على التوالي مقارنة مع اقل قيم اعطتها النباتات المعاملة بالماء المقطر بلغت (بلغت 9.11غم، 18.78%،14.20 ملغم.غم-1،11.06 سم ، 11.56 ملم ، 16.80 طن.هكتار -1 ) وعلى التوالي.
