The research touched on the role of civil society organizations in the development of crafts and handicrafts in Iraq, acquainted with the trades and handicrafts, and the role of civil society organizations in supporting and strengthening the competitive position of these industries and their role in the absorption of unemployment and alleviating economic and social problems resulting therefrom. The research adopted a descriptive approach to the variables of civil society organizations in terms of youth development and concept, also addressed the search and handicraft industries in terms of concept, characteristics and importance. Search resulted in a set of conclusions and proposals which we hope will contribute to upgrading the performance of civil society organizations and upgrading by industries and handicrafts.

تناول البحث دور منظمات المجتمع المدني في تنمية الحرف والصناعات اليدوية في العراق، بهدف التعرف على الحرف والصناعات اليدوية ودور منظمات المجتمع المدني في دعم وتعزيز الوضع التنافسي لهذه الصناعات ودورها في امتصاص البطالة والتقليل من حدة المشاكل الاقتصادية والاجتماعية الناجمة عنها. وقد اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي لمتغيراته المتمثلة بمنظمات المجتمع المدني من حيث المنشأة والتطور والمفهوم ، كما تناول البحث الصناعات والحرف اليدوية من حيث المفهوم والخصائص والأهمية. تمخض عن البحث مجموعة من الاستنتاجات والمقترحات والتي نأمل أن تسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى أداء منظمات المجتمع المدني والارتقاء بواقع الصناعات والحرف اليدوية.
