Abstract

In this work we study mean drift length during a semi wave of the CW radiofrequency field the behavior of the diffusion particles in the pure Helium gas whose plays important role in production of the lamps such as glow lamps and gas lasers through the calculation of the transport parameters which are w, μ, and D by solving numerically transport equation and feeding it to computer program which is construction to calculate the following parameters: E/P300, S, DN, Dp, n, c , l, w, a, SE, (fn1P), (fn1P)-1, w/p and p/w for energy ranges 0.121´10-18 £ E/N £ 0.303 ´10-16 V.cm2 at temperature 300°K.These parameters represented as functions for their variables whose shows a good agreement with experimental and theoretical data.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of precise of the calculations of the diffusion of slow electrons in ionospheric gases, such as, (Argon – Hydrogen mixture, pure Nitrogen and Argon – Helium – Nitrogen) in the presence of a uniform electric field and temperature 300 Kelvin. Such calculations lead to the value Townsend's energy coefficient (KT) as a function of E/P (electric field strength/gas pressure), electric field (E), electric drift velocity (Vd), momentum transfer collision frequency ( ), energy exchange collision frequency ( ) and characteristic energy (D/).The following physical quantities are deduced as function s E/P: mean free path of the electrons at unit pressure, mean energy lost by an electron per collision, mean velocity of agitation and the collisional cross-section of the molecules. The results are presented graphically and in tabular form. This results appeared a good agreement with the experimental data.

تم في هذا العمل حساب انتشار الإلكترونات واطئة الطاقة في غازات طبقات الجو، مثلاً (مزيج من غاز الآركون – الهيدروجين، غاز النيتروجين ومزيج من غاز الآركون – الهيليوم – النيتروجين) بوجود المجال الكهربائي وعند درجة حرارة 300 كلفن. قادت هذه الحسابات الى إيجاد قيمة طاقة تاون سيند بوصفها دالة لـ E/P (شدة المجال الكهربائي / ضغط الغاز)، شدة المجال الكهربائي، سرعة جرف الإلكترونات، تردد التصادم لانتقال الزخم، تردد التصادم لتبادل الطاقة والطاقة المميزة.تم اشتقاق الكميات الفيزياوية التي تم حسابها بوصفها دالة لـ E/P والتي تمثل أهم المعلمات الأساسية في دراسة غازات طبقات الجو وهي: معدل المسار الحر للإلكترونات بوحدة الضغط، معدل الطاقة المفقودة للإلكترون لكل تصادم، معدل سرعة التوهج والمقاطع العرضية التصادمية لجزيئات الوسط. هذه النتائج تم عرضها على شكل جداول وأشكال، إذ أظهرت تطابقاً مع النتائج العملية المنشورة

Abstract

We have calculated the electron drift velocity in pure CF4 and their mixtures with Ar and O2 (10%-80%-10%)for ratios of the electric field to the gas number density E/N from 1 Td to 1000 Td (1 Td = 10 -17 Vcm2),This is mixture is usual used in plasma etching application .The results obtained by using a simple two term solutions for Boltzmann’s equation, We found good agreement between calculated and measured values for electron drift velocity in pure CF4 and their mixtures, These results are useful for determining the electron drift velocity which is an important swarm parameter used to characterize the conductivity of a weakly ionized gas.

Abstract

In this work; Silicon dioxide (SiO2) plasma plume was prepared by laser induced plasma (LIP). The electron number density, plasma frequency and Debye length were calculated by reading the data of I-V curve of Langmuir probe which was used as a diagnostic method of measuring plasma properties. Pulsed Nd:YAG laser was used for measuring the electron number density of SiO2 plasma plume under vacuum environment with varying both vacuum pressure and axial distance from the target surface. Some physical properties of the plasma generated such as electron density, plasma frequency and Debye length have been measured experimentally and the effects of vacuum pressure and Langmuir probe distance from the target were studied on those variables. An inverse relationships between electron density, Debye length and plasma frequency with axial distance from the target were observed as well direct proportionality between both plasma density and plasma frequency with vacuum pressure while the exception is true in case of Debye length which is proportional inversely with vacuum pressure.

في هذا العمل؛ تم اعداد عمود بلازما ثنائي اوكسيد السليكون (SiO2) المتولدة من طريقة البلازما المستحثة بالليزر . حسبت كثافة عدد الإلكترونات، تردد البلازما وطول ديباي من خلال قراءة البيانات من منحنى I-V لمجس لانكمور الذي تم استخدامه كوسيلة تشخيصية لقياس خصائص البلازما. وقد استخدم ليزر YAG لقياس كثافة عدد الإلكترونات في عمود البلازما لمادة ثنائي اوكسيد السليكون SiO2 تحت بيئة فراغ مع تغيير كل من ضغط الفراغ والمسافة المحورية من سطح الهدف. بعض الخصائص الفيزيائية للبلازما المتولدة مثل كثافة الإلكترونات، تردد البلازما وطول ديباي تم قياسها تجريبيا وتمت دراسة آثار ضغط فراغ وبعد مجس لانكمور عن سطح المادة الهدف على تلك المتغيرات. لقد لوحظت علاقات عكسية بين كثافة الإلكترونات، طول ديباي وتردد البلازما مع المسافة المحورية عن الهدف كما كان التناسب طردي مباشر بين كل من كثافة البلازما وتردد البلازما مع ضغط الفراغ في حين أن الاستثناء هو صحيح في حالة طول ديباي الذي يتناسب عكسيا مع ضغط الفراغ .
