Abstract

In Babylon Governorate there exists a single meteorological observing stationwhich is located at Hilla city. An observation at this station is a point observation. Inorder to determine variation of rainfall and of evaporation in Babylon Governoraterecords at nearby stations should be considered. These stations are Baghdad, Kerbalaa,Najaf, Diwaniya, Kut, Hai, and Ramadi stations which are located outside the boundaryof Babylon. In this study the Thiessen polygons method is used to define zone ofinfluence for each of these stations and, hence, monthly mean rainfall are computed. Itis found that the monthly mean rainfall are 15.159, 18.08, 22.719, and 15.339 mm/month for the winter months November, December, January, and February respectively. The monthly mean evaporation are found to be 266.912, 288.057, and259.936 mm/month for the summer months Jun, July, and August respectively.

Abstract

AbstractOne Major modeling primitive in the field of Computer Graphics is a planar polygon. This polygon can have an arbitrary number of vertices and different shapes. In this paper a graphic sub-system is designed and implemented using Field Programmable Gate Array ( FPGA ). One of the main tasks of the hardware designed is scan-converting convex planar polygons required to update an image in the image memory or video RAM which is used as a Frame Buffer. A facility to read the pixels (Picture Elements), from the frame buffer, for display on the monitor of the computer is also included in the design.Keywords: frame buffer, scan-conversion, polygons, pixels, FPGA

إن احد أهم الأشكال الأساسية في مجال الرسم باستخدام الحاسوب هو المضلع المستوي. هذا المضلّع يُمكن أَن يَأخُذ عدداً عشوائياً من الرؤوس وأشكال مختلفة. في هذا البحث تم تصميم و تنفيذ منظومة رسم فرعية باستخدام البوابات القابلة للبرمجة حقلياً. إحدى المهامِ الرئيسية للكيان المادي المُنفذ هو تحويل المسح للمضلعات المستوية و خزنها في ذاكرة الصورة من اجل إجراء عملية التحديث. كما تضمن التصميم إمكانية القراءة للنقاط الصورية (عناصر الصورة) من ذاكرة الصورة وعرضها على شاشة الحاسوب.

Abstract

This paper research about method choice a samples in spatial statistics and using this samples in estimation operation in non-measured area , since there tow types from spatial samples which concluded take up in this paper as a point sample and area sample , since for any type method for choice him , that after definition bounded statistics which have terms this sample it is necessary to be in spatial space , and we using kriging technique in estimation operation in non-measured , moreover calculation kriging estimator variance and kriging variance .we application this paper on our country (Iraq) from (15) governorate in field farming wheat and it is real data, then we programmed all results of mathematical operation by matlab language.

في هذه الدراسة يبحث عن كيفية اختيار العينات في الإحصاء المكاني ومن ثم استخدام هذه العينات في التقدير عن المواقع غير المقاسة ، إذ إن هناك نوعين من العينات المكانية التي تم التطرق إليها في هذا البحث منها النقطية والمساحية .حيث إن لكل نوع من هذه الأنواع طريقة خاصة لاختيارها وذلك بعد تحديد الإطار الإحصائي التي يتضمن مفردات هذه العينات والتي يجب أن يكون في حيز مكاني ، ومن ثم استخدمنا في هذا البحث أسلوب kriging في تقدير النقاط غير المقاسة فضلا عن ذلك تم حساب تباين kriging وتباين مقدر kriging إذ تم تطبيق هذا البحث على بلدنا الحبيب العراق من (15) محافظة في مجال زراعة الحنطة وهي بيانات حقيقية ، وقد تم برمجة جميع العمليات الحسابية بلغة Matlab .

Abstract

Square hole is produced by Press working, Broaching, Non-conventional machining process like Wire EDM, CNC machines, Laser cutting, etc. These methods which mentioned have a complexity of manufacture along with high cost. Creating a square hole using a drill, in addition to having an easier manufacturing process, reduce the cost and time. In this paper, mathematical model of triple cam rotation of constant width inside a square frame is discussed. So, by designing a drilling tool on cam it would be creating a square hole on the work piece. During the rotation of the cam, the center of rotation is not fixed and this is the major problem in this mechanism. There is need to a non-coaxial coupling to transmit the rotational motion. The result of Universal non-coaxial coupling has been used were shown that the rotational velocity of input and output shafts are equals. This coupling can be used for transmitting the rotational motion from the drill to the cam and drilling tool to get a square hole shape..
